9:40 Dragon: Ten years after the Fifth Blight ravaged the land of Ferelden, the world now finds itself in a war surrounded by religion, where the long imprisoned Mages have rebelled and caused an unrest never before seen.
The Mage-Templar War has begun and the world of Thedas has fallen into an abyss where disaster after disaster waits to happen. The Elves are growing restless, The Qunari are planning a full scale invasion and the mysteries behind the silence of the Darkspawn are sure soon to be revealed. Even with high hope for a better future, one must cross a difficult path if one wishes to survive and see it through. It`s time to make a stand, it`s time to make a choice.

Ferelden (8 sub-boards) Ferelden was once a land that contained many of the Almarri tribes, but was united under the banner of King Calenhad. Later it was conquered by the Orlaisan Empire, when King Darlan ruled, but was freed through the efforts of King Maric Theirin, grandson of King Brandel. Maric`s son, King Cailan Theirin became King after Maric`s death and ruled until the Fifth Blight began in Ferelden. The Blight was eventually defeated by Maric`s bastard son Alistair and his friend Aedan Cousland who became the Hero of Ferelden. Alistair now rules Ferelden with his Queen Anora, though the royalties are now faced by criticism, causing a lot of distress in the Kingdom.

The Orleisan Empire (6 sub-boards) Orlais, or the Orlesian Empire, is one of the most powerful nations in Thedas. Val Royeaux is the capital of Orlais, and home to the Chantry. Orlais is ruled by Empress Celene I. It was founded by Emperor Kordillus Drakon, the man who established the Chantry. Orlais conquered Ferelden in 8:44 Blessed, but was expelled before the beginning of the Dragon Age by King Maric Theirin. Now Orlais stand on the brink of war, bringing persecution and execution to all who oppose the Chantry believes. The Empire is hated by many, but even in struggle, it still stands strong.

Nevarra - 1 Viewing (5 sub-boards) Originally one of the larger Free Marches city states, but has aggressively expanded over the last two centuries to become a power to rival Orlais. It is a land governed by the Pentaghast family, who`s reputation is well known throughout Thedas, as they lead a war against the Dragons of old to extinction. Nevarra is a land known for honoring their dead, as in respected tombs they keep them. Now Nevarra is faced between faith and rivalry, growing hatred for the Orlesians and the free Mages who threaten the world order and peace.

The Free Marches (8 sub-boards) The "Marchers" are independent descendants from tough barbarians, their cities standing in a loose confederation that rarely unites on any matter unless one of their larger neighbors becomes aggressive. In this event, the Marchers can assemble a united military front that even the greatest powers cannot ignore. The Free Marches is best known as the breadbasket of Thedas. Its farms along the banks of the Minanter River are the source of much of the continent's food. Starkhaven, the largest of the cities in the Free Marches, is situated on this waterway. During the Fifth Blight, many refugees from Ferelden fled to the Free Marches, and Hawke was among these. In Kirkwall he rised to become a champion and witnessed at first hand the crises that would lead the entire Thedas to war. Hawke, the Champion of Kirkwall, disappeared after the events.

Antiva (2 sub-boards) Antiva`s capital is Antiva City, which lies on the middle of its coastline. The line of kings in Antiva has remained unbroken for two and a half thousand years. In truth, however, the nation is ruled by a collection of merchant princes such as heads of banks, trading companies, and vineyards. As Antiva is well-known to be good at everything but fighting, it is ironic that the world's deadliest assassins, the Crows of Antiva, originate here. No general would be mad enough to lead an attack on the Antivan borders, for while they would surely succeed due to the fact Antiva has no standing army; the general would likely be assassinated by the Crows. Now as the entire Thedas lies on the brink of war, Antiva stands vigilant but is under constant pressure, forced to choose between whom to support.

Rivain (4 sub-boards) Its dark-skinned humans, the Rivaini, have a peaceful relationship with the elves. The city of Llomerryn is known to have a semi-permanent Dalish encampment on its outskirts. The Qunari settlement of Kont-aar is in northern Rivain. Unlike the majority of peoples in Thedas, the Rivaini are not Andrastians and don't believe in the Maker. Rather, they are pantheists who believe in the Natural Order. Many, especially in Kont-aar, have also converted to the Qun, as their religion and the Qun are not very contradictory. Although there are prohibitions on magic, seers are revered as a matter of tradition. These local hedge witches converse with spirits and even allow themselves to be possessed, though it is supposedly done so for the benefit of their villages. For some time, Rivain have been in struggle with the Qunari`s, but now as Thedas is torn by religion and uprising, Rivain is feeling more threatened than ever.

The Tevinter Imperium (2 sub-boards) The Tevinter Imperium is still governed by powerful magic-users through a form of magocracy. It is almost universally reviled by other nations. Its nobility is known to be over-indulgent, and slavery is still practiced. The Imperium is the center of the black market, smuggling (including the harboring of mage fugitives from other lands) and slave trade. Though merely a shadow of its former glory, the Imperium is still a very powerful nation with considerable military might. It would turn on the southern nations were it not diverted by the constant wars with the Qunari.

Anderfels (3 sub-boards) The Anderfels is a human nation in northern Thedas. It is best known for being the birthplace of the Grey Wardens and the site of their headquarters, the Weisshaupt Fortress. It has survived three Blights, but the land stand ruined and in constant threat of the Darkspawn. Recently the Darkspawn have withdrawn from the surface and a civil war has begun among the humans. The old weak king has died and his son has taken over, blaming the Gray Wardens for what happened to his father. The Chantry stands on the side of the new king and the Gray Wardens are having a serious problem that has caused people to distrust them.

Par Vollen (1 sub-board) Par Vollen is the island home of the Qunari, it has a tropical island chain, which is covered mostly by rainforest. A sentient race called the Fex and primitive humans has inhabited this island since before the Qunari arrived, but now they all live as a part of the Qunari culture and Qun philosophy. It once invaded much of Thedas, but was forced to retreat. Now it is in war with the Tevinter Imperium, while their plans are being set in the background. Many believe that the Qunari could have taken the Tevinter Imperium whenever they wanted, but for some reason the Qunari people seem just to wait for their moment to strike. Their religion the Qun is also well known in Thedas, and their religion seems to play a big role in how the war of Thedas out folds.

Deep Roads (3 sub-boards) The Deep Roads are an extensive network of underground roads that once belonged to the dwarven kingdom, stretching far and wide beneath Thedas. The dwarves closed the Deep Roads off when they fell to the Darkspawn during First Blight. The entrances still exist, but are all sealed by octagonal steel doors decorated with geometric patterns that may form words or patterns. The only two known dwarven Thaigs left standing is Orzammar and Kal-Sharok, which is said to inhabit the last of the dwarven population, except the surface dwarves. The contact between two Thaigs is said to have been broken when most of the Deep Roads fell to the Darkspawn and ever since have they kept to themselves.

Battlefield When the threats rises in Thedas, war accurs and it is here on land it all happens and unfolds. Fight for your rights, fight for your country, fight for Victory!
The Sea (2 sub-boards) Often when traveling on ship throughout the coasts of Thedas, there is a great chance of being attacked, and when that happens, the fight for survival begins and ends here on the sea.
