Heartlands

In the center of Orlais lays the Heartlands, the place where every major city of the Orlesian Empire reside, home to the Chantry of Andraste, The White Divine and the capital Val Royeaux, as well the cities; Val Foret, Velun, Val Firmin, Montsimmarad, Verchiel and Lydes. After the events in Kirkwall, life has been difficult for the people here. Civil war between Gespard and his allies against Empress Celene and her army have surely sat a touch to the landscape and the cities, but it is nothing compared to the Mage-Templar War that has gone out of hand.
