Since being marked with Primeval Lyrium by her former Master, they strangely give her a form of telekinetic ability, as Primeval Lyrium grants supernatural ability to any that so foolishly decides to wield it--only she is to bare this burden for the rest of her life - not by choice. She is able to grasp objects within range without touching them physically and can hurl them towards enemies, though there is a weight limit to how much she can manage.
The markings of Lyrium on her skin have granted her the unnatural ability to phase through solid objects. She uses this ability as a weapon, phasing through individuals and solidifying, killing them violently if not also on occasion, Lyaera can speak using thoughts to send into the nearest person's mind, though cannot read other people's minds.
However, despite all this, these abilities can cause great fatigue and put Lyaera at a dangerous risk of losing her sanity and even her life if she isn't careful. Due to only recently been cursed with these markings, Lyaera has not yet managed to control them completely and can occasionally suffer from shock, migraines, nosebleeds, hallucinations, short term memory loss, and panic attacks. Although using them may be necessary, the Lyrium burned into her body causes her pain, making her guarded against physical contact; however, it is more of an aversion to them being touched rather than physical pain.
These abilities make her far more dangerous than those branded with normal Lyrium, and despite having different advantages, she is still of equal ability.

CHARACTERISTICS
Appearance: In a crowd, the first feature on Lyaera's person one would notice is her fiery red hair which cascades down her back and ending at her breasts, naturally it is straight and slightly wavy at the ends along with a side fringe that nearly covers her right eye but with a few strands near her left, which holds a scar. She is lightly tanned unlike most Elven women her blossoming age, despite that being nothing compared to the beautiful feature in which all elves have - the eyes. An elf's eyes are big and round, often innocent and curious when children then soon to be wise when aged, Lyaera's are oddly coloured, bright and passionate but gentle blue-purple eyes with tiny specks of green, yellow and purple, much like a mystic topaz jewel.
She stands at 5ft 7in, fairly tall for an Elven woman but no taller than the males, her figure is thin with slight curves and a medium sized bust with long slender legs, toned stomach and delicate hands with finely trimmed nails. She has gentle feminine features followed by a straight thin nose, average cheekbones, full pale nude lips and thin eyebrows, almost always she has lightly shadowed eyelids of a brown or black shade.
Attire-wise, Lyaera can be rather tomboyish. When traveling, her attire consists of anything that doesn't consist of dresses unless traditional or if she really has to, and along with a brown cloak.
Personality: Impetuous, forceful, and somewhat frolicsome but with one hell of a temper when triggered, Lyaera is a usually a benevolent soul who will willingly get involved in anyone's fight if it meant defending an innocent, regardless if it means for her to be punished straight after. What can be considered a flaw, Lyaera rarely ever thinks of herself, despite there being no such thing as a selfless act, she tends to help others reach their happiness and content before hers. Lyaera is a woman who sheds rarely any tears, though through the eyes of the most observant of people they would know that there is a constant build up until finally, she breaks, though emotionally she is an exceedingly strong person, brushing away her own feelings and focusing on what's important, even if it means risking her own desires and happiness.
Not one to use words often, Lyaera let's her body speak for her, using it to express exactly how she feels. Be it anger, sadness, love, or happiness, her body and facial expressions say all... however, this often causes her to be unable to show or feel said emotions in an emotional way. Another way she uses her body is through dance, being an exceptionally good dancer after so many years of doing so, Lyaera always uses her grace, passion, and flexibility when it comes to battle, even to the point of her opponent becoming mesmerized by her various twist, twirls and back flips, she can be as graceful as a halla then as ferocious as a wolf but with eyes like an eagle. The ways she uses her body are with poise and respect, never will she use it for sexual purposes, those that often persist will see just how bad her temper really is.
Due to her many years as a slave, Lyeara is as loyal as a Mabari hound to both friends and romantic partners despite the fact that she rarely has any friends, but friend or no, she would never betray those she cares about, being unable to that to them and herself. Given the subject of romantic partners, Lyaera is purposely socially awkward and clumsy when around certain males, often tripping over her own feet and forgetting what she is about to say - though only 'cause she enjoys the reactions she gets. Her one true weakness being her heart, more so a slave to it than her master.
Not much of a girlish girl, Lyaera does like to look presentable but hardly cares at the same time, she can be a bit of a tomboy most of the time, enjoying taking part in drinking or card games with male companions, even when it comes to pub brawls. Quite the practical joker, Lyaera will do almost anything for a laugh.
More importantly, Lyaera values and cherishes those she holds dear, mainly family and also friends, anyone that hurts them will cause her to hold a very deep grudge until she eventually pays them back... in full.
HISTORY
Born Lyaera Amavaintria of a Dalish Clan, daughter of her mother, Erethia, and father, Menel , the Keeper of his clan. Lyaera was given her name in memory of her Grandmother's name, whom was the past Keeper before her son, plus she once had a fondness for wolves.
Ly of her name means Wolf (in Latin) whereas Aera which means Dancer or Era which means Dream in Elvish, Menel took extra care in naming his daughter, believing her to achieves greatness in the future. She grew up the spitting image of her mother whilst she inherited her father's eyes, although her mother tried to bring her up to be a lady but to no avail, Lyaera preferred her bow over such trivial things though still partook in activities such as playing the lute, cooking, singing, and dancing. From the day she was given her very first bow by her Grandfather at the age of seven, Lyaera never parted from it and at the age of thirteen she became one of many skilled archers in her Clan despite her mother's occasional hints of disapproval yet she accepted her daughter's skill.
Lyaera grew up to be a rather headstrong and passionate teenager, often disapproving of her mother's plans for arranged marriages and the like, making it frustratingly hard for Erethia to get her tomboyish daughter to focus on what was right for her Clan along with attempting to raise her as a young demure young lady. But despite all this, Lyaera had a very strong bond with both her mother and father.
At the present time, Lyaera will never forget the fate of her parents as she was taken from them along with her newborn baby brother by Shemlen when she was only thirteen years old. Her entire Clan had been slaughtered with the exception of the young, Lyaera does not look back on her past in hopes to gain pity but instead it has made her the strong person that she is now, plus her parents do not deserve to be forgotten after all that they have done for her. She honors their memory.
At such a young age, she was forced into slavery, not yet gaining her markings so people just thought of her as a city elf, a mere slave. She was bought by a foul man by the name of Krios, a Mage, she had heard of them but did not know of the dangers in which they possessed. Her brother being only a week old, he was given away by a elven couple and Lyaera never saw him until she was seventeen, her four year old brother being named Nol by his foster parents, who had unfortunately been killed and was then also bought by Krios and given the job to clean out fireplaces and sewage while Lyaera cooked, cleaned, made beds, arranged flowers, as well as waiting on her master whenever he required her, which was always!
As she became a teenager and developed more into her "woman's" body, Krios soon began treating her far more differently, still appallingly but yet once she became more of a woman, she noticed the ways he looked at her and the way he eyed her when he spoke. It was then he began to host parties, ordering her to sing, dance and play the lute for his guests. Whenever she would hesitate or do something wrong, he would either beat her or use his "secret weapon", as he liked to call it, to get her to do things right and if she failed, the consequences would be dire and far too unbearable for her to watch. Despite whatever Krios threw at her and all the physical, mental and emotional abuse, she still remained strong for both herself and Nol, but mainly for Nol. It wasn't long until Lyaera was stripped of her own name, her master began to call her Sora, his little songbird, often caged and only let out when he wanted her.
There were nights where Krios would lock himself away in his study for hours on end, little did Sora know, but he was beginning to develop an obsession, one that she had no knowledge of. It was then the next day that Krios invited over a guest, one that Sora grew more and more disgust for each and every time she saw him, a man named Danarius, an apparent friend of her master's. She hated him, loathed him with a strong passion, the way he looked at her so inappropriately, touching her as if he owned her, never had she felt hatred for anyone, not even her master when he would beat her senseless.
The two would talk for hours whilst she and her brother where sent to their room, despite not knowing much and barely being able to read, she could understand certain subjects in which they spoke of, mainly about magic and power, the more and more she heard of it, the more she began to resent Mages. Whenever someone was given power, there was always the risk of them abusing such power, craving more, or even letting it corrupt them, Mages especially. Eight years later, when Sora/Lyaera reached the age of twenty-three, for some unknown reason, Krios's "friend" suddenly stopped visiting, which led him to become even more obsessed and paranoid when it came to Danarius's work, he got his hands on whatever codex's he could on his idol's theories and plans.
Before long, he began to use his little songbird for other purposes, training her to become a killer, to kill his Mage rivals and steal what they knew of Danarius's experiments, sometimes even picking locks to their vaults and taking whatever valuables they possessed. She was being reduced to less than a slave, if such a thing was possible. He pushed and worked her to near exhaustion, and whenever she would hesitate, he would use the "secret weapon" against her every time she was difficult, which he knew caused her great pain and this he enjoyed. Lyaera craved for freedom, for her brother to live a better life, but there was no going against her master's orders.
On occasion, Lyaera has escaped from her Master's clutches along with her brother, a few good times but eventually she is taken back to him after being found.
There had to be more to her life than this, her father had hopes for her future... and she would make sure it'd be one worth fighting for.
