Location:Weisshaupt Fortress.
The fortress headquarters of the grey wardens HQ was where the largest amount of the order dwelt mostly due in no small part to the large amount of potential recruits. But things still weren't easy for the order even with the bulk of it's combat power in the area. The king was against them and their leader the first warden had been thrown into prison.
Davos couldn't help the small sigh that escaped his lips as he thought over the current situation but shook his mind clear of these thoughts. Davos looked over the fortress the place that had been his home for most of his adult life and he had to admit for once he was unsure how things would turn out. He didn't doubt Anna ability to lead them she was a fine choice and he knew she'd be able to lead them well but that was just it. Sometimes it didn't matter how well you lead something some times you were just over whelmed by the enemy and their was little you could do about it when it happened.
Davos chuckled slightly as he moved on the battlements of the castle looking over the side and towards the lands of the Anderfels. Davos had to admit to most the Anderfels weren't impressive but to someone who lived her the land held a slight charm. Davos watched the early the sun slowly move into the sky it was early morning but it was Normal for Davos to be up at this hour. Davos walked along the battlements of the fort nodding to some of the wardens on patrol as he walked surveying the area. Davos kept moveing heading back towards the keep so that he could be handy if anyone needed him.

Weisshaupt Fortress stood tall and proud as its walls beared witness to the sun as it slowly rose up to its rightful place in the very heavens. The heavens themselves was like a sea of gold as Dawn made itself known through out the lands and the mighty fortress of the Grey Wardens, with the halls of the fortress the morale was strong as ever. Each Grey Warden no matter hold their are or what race, they did their best to support each other, as some practiced their skills in weaponry while others simply enjoyed the company of each other.
Deep in the bowels of the fortress itself the First Warden Anna herself was just clasping on the last of her armour and tightened it so that it hugged her frame nicely. With a sigh she marched out of her room and was met by a respectful salute from two guards which stood on the outskirts of her room, Anna nodded happily and moved down the halls towards the outskirts.
It was not long before she spotted her old friend Davros who was as usual awake early to greet the new day. Back in the old days he had been like a older brother and he still was, even though the two warriors were not related by blood they are however related by the blood of the darkspawn which flowed in their veins. Gently she walked over to her friend and smiled with complete respect for Davros. "Good morning old friend, you look well".

Davos looked over as his friend approached and smiled warmly to her before giving her a nod of his head and speaking to his oldest friend. She was more then that she had been like a younger sister to him and much like a younger sister he was protective of her. He heard her ask if he had slept well and chose to deflect the question with one of his own he didn't want to worry her with the visions of dark spawn starting again. He had learned to block them out but it got harder as you got older and the taint was able to take over slowly. He finally spoke with his a warm tone in his voice to help stave off the chill of the morning. "Good morning my friend I trust you slept well?" Davos smiled and turned as the two began their normal walk around the fort to inspect before the day truly began.
Davos smiled as the two walked along the wall heading along their normal path it was just a normal part of their day. Davos glanced over at his friend and decided to speak to his younger friend. "It seems that we have more Recruits now that were hated then we did when the king Tolerated us people seem to fear what will happen should we be removed from the country." It was true Davos seemed to be training a lot of new wardens that didn't have any combat training that came to the fort for either safety or to somehow get revenge against the dark spawn for a loved one.
Davos couldn't fault them though he was sure almost every warden here had felt that at at least sometime but like most things it faded over time. Davos looked over the court yard where some of the older wardens were beginning to instruct some of the younger newer ones. Normally Davos would be among them but he normally lead the patrols around the fort now days to take a burden off of Anna's shoulders to help make her new duties easier.

It was just so refreshing to see new talent in the Grey Wardens. Davros was a fine swordsman and was proud to have him at Weisshaupt fortress, if anyone could make recruits into proud soldiers then he was the man to do it. And in times like these cooperation was the key and now that Davros was back in Weisshaupt she could continue to strengthen morale at least until his majesty King Alistair arrives, back in the old days the two would constantly spar with each other and fought like a team against the darkspawn.
And just as always he greeted Anna in a polite and respectful way. In reality she outranked Davros, but to her it didn’t matter about rank, Anna was just glad to have him back. With a smile she gently nodded and gently she walked slowly to once again begin her inspection of the fortress and her men, she even replied in complete honesty. "To be honest I didn’t sleep very well, but nothing will stop me from doing my duty".
But Davros seemed concerned as he expressed his feelings about the new recruits, it was only natural to worry about them and the actual future of the Grey Wardens. But with King Alistair on his way, the acting First Warden was determined to help her brothers and sisters, Once again she spoke. "Worry not Davros, I sent word to his majesty King Alistair and he is currently on his way to support us, and don’t worry about the Grey Wardens my friend. I will do my very best to ensure that we will live on"

Davos listened to his friend and nodded when she said that she hadn't slept well but he figured that might just be her nervousness about her current position playing it's part. Davos placed his hand on his friends shoulder and gave it a slight squeeze knowing she probably couldn't feel it through the armor she was wearing.
Davos smiled as he walked with his friend along the walls and the approached the stairs slowly making their way down into the court yard. Davos looked over a few of the solders that were getting ready to begin a patrol of the area outside of the fortress. He smiled to Anna as the two walked around the fort "Don't worry Anna every Warden here has faith in you we know you'll do a fine job"
Davos smiled at his friend he had complete faith in her he had fought along side her long enough to know that she had what it took to be a leader. He also had to agree having the king of a country giving them their support then maybe things would turn around for them. "Well with the support of a king it should make things easier for us a little but we still can't lower out guard Anna" Davos said this as the two walked and the sun finally made it's self know lighting up the court yard with it's rays as the First Warden and the Senior warden made their rounds.
