Gear: Gerard wears Chevalier armor forged from Silverite which bears the royal crest on the chest plate. He also Carry's a long double edged sword based off of the Templar's blades carrying the same look as theirs (Think Oathkeeper's apperance the sword you get for clearing the Chanters board in Lothering).Gerard also Carry's a Double edged dagger with a cross guard rather then the Normal shortened one, The final piece of gear that he Carry's is a kite shield that bears the royal crest on it marking him as a member of the royal guard.
CHARACTERISTICS
Appearance:Gerard is a man of fair appearance despite the scar that goes over his left eye, he stands at a little over 6'1 and he weighs a little over 220 lbs. Gerard has a muscular build which Carry's scars over his body from battle's and attacks he's fought off in the name of his empress. While on duty he wears his full plate with pride and despite the armors weight can still move Quickly.He has slate Grey eyes and sliver Hair and normally keeps a small amount of Stubble on his chin and along his jaw line. His hair reaches his the middle of his Shoulder blades but he keeps part of it in a Pony tail matching a slightly Elven style. Gerard also wears an Amulet of a wolf around his neck.
Personality:Gerard is a Knight Born and Raised and holds himself with some Honor in battle believing that Loyalty to his oaths is his most Scared Duty. Gerard is rather Easy going when not on Duty and knows how to Relax with others that aren't apart of his Guards men.
HISTORY
Gerard was born into a minor Noble Family in Orlais he was raised to be loyal to his Country and it's ruler but understands that it is the people that make a Country Great as such he always try his best to defend them. He learned much from the Chantry and his Parents and when he came of Age he joined the Orlaisan army and with the Skills that his father taught him he proved himself a deadly and skilled warrior quickly earned his Knighthood.
Gerard served as a Knight earning many Victories of Orlais by leading the small unit of troops he was placed in command of or leading his father's men. Most of Gerard's battles were against groups of out laws or Brigadiers, with a few being against Noble's that had been ordered Executed by the Empress for crimes against the Crown. Gerard earned a Reputation on the battle Field as a Skilled Commander and Feared warrior and became know as the White Wolf to his Friends and Enemy.
It was his Reputation that earned him a Position among Empress Celene's Royal guard, where shortly after he joined he learned of a plot against the Empresses life. The plot was by a Member of Celene's uncle's Guard who had been allowed to keep his rank. The Commander believed some of the rumors about Celene planing her Uncle's death and took it upon himself to avenge his former lord.
The Commander planned the attempt well at least he thought he had but Gerard proved to be Resourceful and was able to uncover the plot and dealt with the man during a feast. He stopped the man from Poisoning the Empress but the man chose to try and follow through with steel when his poison failed. He drew steel and slew two Guards before trying for the Empress but was met by Gerard's blade and quickly was forced to face the younger knight. While the commander was skilled with a blade Gerard proved to be the better swords man and was able to slay the man.
The Empress proved grateful for Gerard dealing with the Traitor and decided, that she wanted the man who had Slaying the Former Commander of her Guard to take over as the new one. Gerard accepted the Position great fully and has prove himself by preventing a few attempts on Celene's life since. Gerard has followed his lady into Exile along with what Remained of her Loyal Guards men to defend her. Gerard knows about his lady's current Relation ship with the King but knows better then to stick his nose into the Empresses business choosing to simply remain silent.

Gerald couldn't help the slight sigh that escaped his lips as he stood at his post out front of the Empress's bed chamber making sure no one tried anything through the Apartments that the King of Ferelden had given her to stay in while she was in Exile. He had no doubt what the King and Empress were up to but it wasn't his place the judge and he made sure that what was left of her Royal guard knew that full well. Gerald shook his head as he looked around the room his hand resting on the Sword hilt that was attached to his hip and he shook his head slightly to be honest he wasn't found of Ferelden he'd spent a lot of time here during the Occupation hell he'd even fought during it. "Ahhh the sooner we kill that Usurper the sooner we can go back home"
Gerald allowed himself to begin to pace the room slightly to keep himself alert the Cloak that the Royal guard wore swaying slightly behind him as he moved. He missed the Beauty of Orlais but he wasn't stuck up enough to believe that Ferelden lacked it's own form of Beauty he was just use to his Home. And he had to admit it he missed it but it was the Price he knew that he had to pay for remaining Loyal to his Lady and he didn't Regret it for now he would stay as his lady's Sword and Shield dealing with her Foes no matter who they where. After all it was in the Oath he swore and he saw no reason no to see to it that his Lady regained her Throne.
