I have an idea with Darin.
He's broken his oaths as a Grey Warden, and his punishment is to act as Howe's bodyguard and protector during the expedition, risking everything to protect Howe.
...Mavenna will come there, as well. She has decided that becoming a Grey Warden is the only way to escape templars forever, since they have her phylactery, and this is her rite of passage.

Ok, I can work with this, considering its Nate, and well we all know Nate. Be warned, he will not just stand around, hence why he is the Warden Commander.

Well, you can count Rawen in, simply because it would be a bit of an adventure for her and such xD plus she'll want to follow after Nate like the little lost puppy that she is~ XD
