It was always amazing how things could change, first she was a small kid learning what it meant to be a mage. Now she was back on the ship, she had spent some of her childhood. She was on the deck, since her skills were not needed right now. As they were heading for there next destination, she looked at the water. Thinking about her father, it almost broke her heart. First she didn't know her mother, since her mother died after giving birth. But now her father had been killed, but a stupid templar. Closing her eyes tears fell down her cheek, she missed her father.
Her friend Mari they had always been very close, they were best friends. With a mix of sister type relationship, but the whole time she was away from her friend. Her love for her grew, but she knew she had been in relationships. So there was no real point in telling her best friend her feelings, she would just be another notch. Sure she wouldn't see her friend like that, but that is how she would feel. But right now things were just hard for her, being the only mage on the ship. She brushed away her tears, not wanting to look weak and pathetic.
For a moment she thought she heard someone, her black hair blew in the wind. She pulled her out of her eyes, unsure if it was just the wind making it sound like something was up. Or if it was something else, thinking for a moment she rubbed the back of her neck. Her eyes never leaving the oceans, her father had loved this life. She was starting to get back to normal, thinking for a moment she turned her head looking to see who was there. Her gray eyes showed sadness, the sadness she tried to hide away.

Take a breath, fall away, catch another life line! Live a little, die a little, eat a little sunshine!
Iggy whooped at the top of his lungs as he swung between the masts of the Bastard's Kiss, switching from length of rope to length of rope with an almost shocking agility. There were many things that Iggy couldn't do properly yet; the names of the parts of the ship still confused him, most of the orders made no sense at all, and several of his fellow crewmen felt he cleaned with an inordinate amount of enthusiasm (though to be fair, Iggy did nearly everything with an inordinate amount of enthusiasm, hell, he was cheery when he took a piss). However, Iggy had learned that, much as he anticipated, there were a couple of things he was awesome at. One, he could tie a hell of a knot and untie it just as fast, and two, he could out climb any creature alive save perhaps a very determined monkey.
Back home, most of Iggy's free time revolved around attempting to kill his siblings and/or learning new and inventive ways to attempt to kill his siblings. Here, out in the vast blue ocean, with such a limited number of crew, most forms of violence for kicks and giggles was frowned upon, so Iggy found other little hobbies, hobbies that usually involved hurtling himself from dangling rope to dangling rope some thirty feet in the air. He figured it was as close as he could get to boxing gravity.
A series of nimble bounds took Iggy from one end of the ship to another in a matter of moments, the boy swinging from one mast to next, before tossing himself into the ship's rigging, and flipping onto a load of stacked crates before bouncing down onto the ship's railing, perching on the bucking surface with all the ease of a queer sort of bird. He caught sight of a figure standing against the railing, looking out into the vastness of the ocean. Iggy scuttled closer towards the person like the oddest sort of crab until he was within spitting distance. People who went off by themselves to think in a quiet place oft time required hugs, and Iggy was well versed in the art of hug giving.
The figure by the railing turned out to be a lady figure, a lady figure belonging to one of crewm- crewla- crewpeople, the ship's surgeon by the look of her. She was supposed to be a sort of mage, a healer, and she did indeed have a large stick. Iggy had never really understood the point of healers. Well, maybe for breaking fevers and bad coughs, but not for healing wounds sustained in battle (because if you weren't healing your numerous wounds by ripping the life force from your screaming opponent, you were obviously doing it wrong).
Iggy caught the suggestion of dampness on the woman's cheeks, noted the slight puffiness in her eyes, and felt his mood wane a little. He was no fan of tears. Tears meant something had gone horribly wrong somewhere, and Iggy felt bound to fix it. Even if a foe started blubbering in the middle of combat, Iggy felt compelled to fix it (usually with a liberal application of sword to head, because dying with a shred of freaking dignity was important.)
The bubbly berserker dropped down from his perch on the railing, to the deck of the Bastard's Kiss, and offered the woman a wide, amber eyed gaze, moist and full of sympathy and the want to make things better. His words came out soft and mellow, ever gentle, the sort of voice one used to calm animals stuck in a snare (though he didn't have any intentions of catching her, skinning her, and cooking her up with vegetables into a tasty stew, at least- not unless things got real funny real quickly), "Ummm... hey? You're mistress Wolf, right? Are ya gonna be okay? Could Iggy help? Ah can make it dead, ah'm good at that, or... maybe- a hug? Hugs are always good."

She had never really met Iggy she had heard about him, he was a fire cracker. Sighing some, she hated to cry it made her feel weak. But when she heard him speak, about who she was she nodded some. She smiled at what he said however, brushing her black hair out of her eyes she sighed some. Thinking about what to say to him, she didn't wear robes the way most mages did, her outfit showed skin. It was like a short dress, her staff down in her quarters. And looked down at the sea again, her sadness slowly pouring out into the sea.
"Just thinking about my father I have known the captain since we were kids. I went to the circle to try and understand what it meant, to be a mage. His death is why I hate Templars, since one killed him. But I know the past is done, and nothing can bring the dead back. Unless it's the dark arts, but id not wish that on anyone. Not even the one who killed my father, but any way. Ive been meaning to talk to you I'm trying to get a feel for the ship. Since things have changed since I was last on here.
I like to try and know everyone i'm good with names and Mari has told me a bit about you. Good things of course, she never speaks bad of her crew. I'm always curious about the story people have, I was raised on this ship. Though I have no relation to Mari, Ive seen some things as a kid that made me question some things. But nothing that would effect anyone. You are sweet for asking if I was ok by the way, and you can just call me Luna. Ive never liked respectful titles since i'm not all that old really."
She said happily, and relaxed a bit. It was nice to actually talk to someone, since Mari was busy a lot. She had wanted to be more then just a sergon, but she as asked to be one, because she was the only mage that was on the ship.

Iggy watched the mage lady's lips move with great interest, and beamed at her, brightening significantly as the tone of her words lightened, "Aww, well, yeah, Ah don't like tha livin' dead, if Ah kill it, gettin' back up again is just rude. So... yeah, can't quite fix that. But.. but! Ah have killed lots and lots of Templars! Ah even fought their boss once! Almost had him, but Ah was too tuckered out, 'n he was one tough ol' bastard, that he was."
"Ah! But ah can still offer tha hug!" Iggy surged forward and wrapped wiry limbs about Luna's form, squeezing her and bit and taking her off her feet for a moment. Iggy was skilled in the art of hugging people, even taller people (though in Iggy's case, that category included about ninety percent of the people Iggy had ever met.) He offered a hearty chuckle and set the woman back down, jigging from foot to foot slightly and waiting for the lady to speak some more. The words came soon enough, and Iggy filled with glee from head to toe. He hopped up onto the railing of the ship and proceeded to pace back and forth as he spoke... on his hands... while gesturing with his feet.
"The Cap'n says good things? What sorts a good things?" Iggy grinned as his cheeks colored slightly. Captain Mariana fascinated him and quite frankly, made his nethers tingle like mad. She was strong, in charge, capable, cunning, and bosoms, and crafty, and surprising, and breasts, and beautiful, and brilliant, and agile, and- and- dear Gods how they heaved! Iggy flopped back onto the deck, feeling light-headed and decidedly... tingly. His brain was not working properly, constantly going off in weird directions without first consulting him. He wasn’t fond of broaching the topic, back home, his older brothers had merely snickered at him, while his younger brothers were just as confused as he was. His fathers and elderfathers had only given cryptic responses and muttered about the need for a “Hunting” soon enough. The Magister had simply looked at him funny, and promised to take him to a brothel sooner rather than later, though they’d never gotten the chance.
Iggy perked up and focused as the woman kept speaking, untangling his limbs and springing back up to his feet with his eternally bright smile, ”Awww domina, it’s nah about bein’ old! You’re a mage ‘n stuff, supposed ta treat mages proper. Ah know a few who get a bit tetchy if ya don’t talk ta ‘em proper.”

She smiled listing to him, he really was a unique character. Watching him move around like he did, reminded her of herself. She use to do all sorts of things when she was a child, and still knew how to as well. And laughing for a moment, she hoped up onto the rail and crossed one leg over the other. And thought for a moment, thinking about what to say to him. Looking up at the sky, she had enjoyed the hug he gave her. Perhaps to much, felt good for someone to hug her. A soft melody escaped her lips as she tried to put her brain together.
"Hahren na melana sahlin Emma ir abelas Souver'inan isala hamin Vhenan him dor'felas In uthenera na revas
Vir sulahn'nehn Vir dirthera Vir samahl la numin Vir lath sa'vunin..."
Looking down she sighed some. "She is proud of her crew, Ive known the captain since I was about six. And you don't have to worry about me Iggy, unlike most mages I'm a nice one." She put her hands on the rail and shot herself up, doing a hand stand on the rail right over the water. Pushing herself over she flipped over and landed on her feet. Trying to liven this up.
