Marcus Blackmore sat at his table in the Hanged man. It must've been an unusual sight for the rest of the patrons, a man in full plate armor sitting in a tavern alone. usually the only people in here wearing armor were guardsman, but that was another story.
He sat hunched over with his hand in his hand, staring vacantly down at a single gold sovereign that lay on the table; it was not his, of course. it was a relic of that day it belonged to one of the little girls at the orphanage. Maybe it had some personal or sentimental value because she held onto even when her throat was slit.
Marcus began to shiver slightly, the memory of it still fresh in his mind. Why was such a thing allowed? How was this sanctioned? It drove him mad. He gridded his teeth as ran his hand through his curly black hair, pulling it. "Maker keep you." he muttered under his breath.
He placed the coin in his pack, not wanting to look at it any longer. placing his hands to together on the table, he began staring into nothing once more. Much like that day, it was all he could do.

Three shots and three ales, Karrys loved this surface booze, it tasted way better than Dwarven ale, Orzammar ale was disgusting, it tasted like dirt. He started on his fourth ale, he saw some people sitting around, a guy in some nice armor, humans were so tall and the sky...It was beautiful, Karrys enjoyed the surface, he was nervous at first but got used to it in a matter of day suprisingly, he had only been on the surface for a few months but enjoyed his time here.
He observed two dwarven men walk in, they both sat on either side of him. They ordered a drink and looked at him. "I have someone who wants to talk with you." He man had a helmet on and it blocked his face. Then the other guy looked at him to, "This is a message from the Coterie." Then they left, that was fast. Well he didn't know what they where talking about, he looked at the man who was a knight. "Hey what is the Coterie? I haven't been here long." Karrys told the man, he was drunk so he was wanting to talk.
"I am Karrys, I used to be a casteless in Orzammar, and Legion of the Dead, may I ask your name?" He looked at the Knight, "Can I buy you a drink?" He offered seeing a sadness in his eyes.

"The Coterie?" Marcus replied. "A group of malicious and greedy psychopaths who nothing but the sating of their own selfish desires." Marcus continued. The dwarf certainly seemed to be of the honest sort, a rare thing for a casteless dwarf if Marcus were to believe the things he read about them.
"A word of wisdom, Dwarf, and i say this with no offense intended, whatever the circumstances that led you to leave Orzammar, if possible, i would recommend that you reconcile those circumstances and return immediately." Marcus felt bad for being so brutally honest with the man, he was friendlier to Marcus then most and he deserved much better then this...hole.
"This is not an insult, you understand. Please don't take it as such. I say if you don't understand humans and our culture, you would be much better off then you realize." Marcus hung his head and stared into the wood of the table once more. "Take me at my word, Sir Dwarf, The less you truly know of my people, the better off you'll be."
