CHARACTERISTICS
Appearance: Rashalle is somewhat tall for her race. She has straight, dark brown hair and bright blue eyes. She prefers to let her hair flow freely down her back, instead of wearing it up. As with most of the Dalish elves, Rashalle has always been rather thin. Like all adult Dalish, her face is adorned with vallaslin, or blood writing, her markings honoring Sylaise, the Hearthkeeper. As you might expect judging by her role in the clan, Rashalle isn't particularly athletic for a Dalish. She normally dresses in a combination green and brown, though she does quite like the color blue as well.
Personality: (I'll fill this in later!)
HISTORY
Rashalle was born into a clan of the always wandering Dalish. Her father was the clan's craftsman, and her mother was the clan's story teller. As she grew she found that she was not at all talented in magic, nor did she inherit her father's talent at crafting. She was fairly skilled with a bow, but as the years went by she spent more and more time by her mother's side, listening eagerly as she told her stories to the children. As she got older she found that not only did she enjoy hearing the tales of their past and their beliefs, she enjoyed telling them too. She spent much of her teenage years regaling the tales she had heard from her mother and the elders of her clan to those younger than her, as well as the city elves who ran from the shemlen lands and were brought into the clan.
Rashalle's mother and father were both killed during the blight in Ferelden. When the Grey Warden's invoked the contract the Dalish had signed long ago, her father declared that he would join their brothers and sisters to fight the Blight in Denerim, and her mother, not being able to bear being parted from him, joined him in the fight.
After the death of her parents, Rashalle became the official storyteller for her clan. This wasn't a very hard transition for the children, who already thought of her as a second storyteller anyway. A few years after the Blight, a woman told Rashalle's Keeper that there were many old artifacts of the People in northern Orlais. Believing the one who told the clan this, he took the clan west to search for these artifacts. So far however, the search has been for naught. Now, upon hearing of Keeper Lanaya's troubles, and of some of the elves joining the barbarians for an invasion in Ferelden, her clan is headed east once more to see just what is going on.

Today was an important day. The current Emperor of the Orlesian Empire was coming to Highever at her request. This was of course, to deal with the matter of his rival for the throne, Celene. It was true that Anora was no fan of Orlesians, but she wasn't about to let her own hatred cause a war. If this matter could be settled peacefully while Alistair was away, it would be. Truth be told, she would prefer to have Celene on the throne of Orlais, and she was not at all opposed to helping her get there again. She was not going to mention this little fact to Gespard de Chalons however. Though she did not like it, he held the power in Orlais right now, and it would not do to make him suspicious of Ferelden's queen.
She smiled softly at the people of Highever as she rode through the streets to the place she was meeting Emperor Gespard. She knew that they were questioning her actions in inviting the Orlesian here, and would be keeping an eye on the Emperor and his entourage just as she was. She looked directly in front of her and saw the banners of Orlais. The Emperor had arrived. She could feel the people watching the two royals, as well as the guards she had brought with her, who continuously altered between watching her and watching the Orlesians, waiting in case their 'visitors' made to attack her, but also ready to stop any Fereldens from inciting a war.
She put on a pleasant smile as Gespard descended the ramp and officially set foot on Ferelden soil. "Emperor Gespard! It is our pleasure to welcome you to Ferelden." She proclaimed warmly for all to hear. Anora had always been a good actress. Since childhood she had been practicing the skills she would need for the royal court and when she was, in her father's words, 'the undisputed ruler of the whole world'. Her father. Oh, how she missed him! What would he think seeing her now, here welcoming the Orlesians back onto their soil? He may have understood. He had been a wonderful strategist after all. Now was not the time to think of her deceased father however, now was the time to focus on Orlais' new emperor. "I hope your journey here was pleasant?" She asked the man politely.
