So, as you know, I have decided to re-start my interest in Lord of the Rings Roleplay. I want to use Probroads now of course and I am stuck on a name and official plot.
I was thinking of having it set during the Fourth Age, after the fall of Sauron, where a new enemy of a sort arrives in Middle-Earth. What do you guys think?

First off - I fully intend to join. Second off - What sort of "new threat"? I can help you plot if you want once I know the basics of what you want.

Well, perhaps after the destruction of Sauron, Aragon is crowned King and Faramir appointed as Steward of Gondor, in charge of Gondor when the King is gone. Eõmer is crowned King of Rohan and is good friends alongside Gondor and Aragon. The remaining Orcs and Servants of Sauron flee deep in the mountains and plan on exacting revenge for the destruction of their lord. Frodo and the hobbits, don't know about them. We can discuss what we want with them, and I feel like I am missing some more people....

Well, did any of the elves besides Arwen stay behind in ME? Also, Frodo and Bilbo left with the elves, but the other hobbits could have some interesting bits to add - particularly Merry and Pippin. They were more adventurous than Sam, and both saw heavy combat. Not that Sam didn't of course, but he did it differently, and was always more the type to settle down. Also, you could do something with the Ents - they were always interesting, if slow, and you could try something with the dwarven kingdoms. Maybe have them try to re-take Moria and unleash some nastiness there - or perhaps come across some particularly intelligent orcs or uruks, who try to form an army to exact their revenge, or have them go after some other goal... Lots of things you could do here.

Well, that's what I want to discuss. I think Merry and Pippin should play some type of role in the plot, Arwen does stay behind and is married to Aragorn, Ents would be very interesting, we can talk more about them. And the effort of re-taking Moria I really like. Need more input guys. How would you want the Ents and Dwarves put in? And of the Elves?
