CHARACTERISTICS
Appearance: Evara has shoulder length, blonde hair that is straight with bangs that sway off to the right side of her face. She has thin, light brown eyebrows, with hazel eyes. Her lashes are an average length, though they are very thick and dark. Her lips naturally in a faint, smiling position and are pink, just like her usually rosy cheeks. Although, Evara has a peachy tone to her skin, barely hiding her pink cheeks. Her body is very curved around the waist, and she is somewhat tall for an elf. Her ears are long and pointed, and one of them has a dip at the end. Evara also has several, thin scars, due to her past.
Personality: Evara tries to keep to herself. It's not that she's shy or anything, no definitely not shy. It's just that, she usually gets into trouble when she socializes with others, for she is very sneaky and cunning. Occasionally, she'll have a good day, holding out a brief conversation with someone. Other than that, Evara is usually exploring the forests, playing with the animals or wielding her magic.
HISTORY
Evara's childhood is one that you would want to forget. When she was born, her father despised her the moment he had laid eyes on her, for he had wanted a son. He physically and verbally abused her up to the age of 7, thus giving her the condition of bruising easily. When Evara did turn 7, her father down-graded to just verbally. He called her a low-life scum, and many more names that were not appropriate for a child her age. Some were so cruel, if he had been caught, he would have been hung for his crimes. Evara's mother, was too intimidated by her husband to do anything about it, for she was frightened by the man as well. So, Evara and her mother lived in for years.
When Evara turned 14, she and her mother attempted to escape her father. Just as they thought they were safe, he came. Furious, Evara's father murdered her mother, burying her in a nearby meadow. Evara was spared, though she was given a warning. "If you ever even think of running away." Her father scolded. "I will pull out your mother's body, and force you to watch as I saw her into thousands of small bits." Evara would rather die. So, she did as she was told.
Eventually, her father was caught. The neighbors heard crying and screaming, and turned in Evara's dad. He was killed shortly after, and Evara was now and orphan. The day after her father died, Evara went to visit her mother's grave. She then visited her tomb ever day from that point on, or at least, whenever she could.

Delicately, Syrina tip-toed over to an empty patch of grass, in which was only a few inches away from the peaceful river that lead to the waterfall. The sound of the water crashing against the river sounded almost as tranquil as a mother singing a lullaby to her baby. Yes, everything was alright. It seemed as if nothing could hurt Syrina.
As the girl sat down in the grass, the water washed up a bit, getting the tip of Syrina's dress wet. She scooted back a tad, to prevent her getting any more water on her clothing. She then just sat, admiring the scene. Hummingbirds zipped from one tulip to the other, their gentle wings almost sounding like a someone was humming. Syrina lied down on her back, the open sky now in view.
Suddenly, a twig snapped a few yards away. Syrina jolted upward, eying the area the sound came in. A sudden shock of fear waved over her, replacing her previous calmness and serenity. Something was there, whether it be a person or an animal. Either way, Syrina had no way of telling.
"Hello?" The startled girl asked.
