(Battleaxe) - A double edged battleaxe, handed down through generations. Once said to have belonged to a Paragon. The entire axe is made of white steel which has a leather grip, and has a blade with diamand edges, able to cut through almost anything.
Spawn-Splitter - A bastard sword with a common one and a half handed shaft made of leather, with a double edged blade made of solid steel
Heavy Plate Armour - The dwarven plate armour which Lyulf often wears is made out of silverate, the set including; heavy breast Plate, heavy back Plate, heavy shoulder plates, heavy upper leg protection, heavy arm protection, heavy boots and a square dwarven helmet.
Dwarven Noble Clothing - When Lyulf is not dressed for combat he wears his common noble clothes which show off his pride as noble among his kin, having various sorts of clothes with the emblem of his house embroided on it.
CHARACTERISTICS
Appearance: High Lord Lyulf is a typical dwarf, short and strong build, with a long black beard and hair. His skin is more pale than those from Orzammar and he looks not as old as most dwarves in his age. Having lived in a tainted place has caused him to look a bit different than others, having dark eyes and dark visible veins. Covering his body you can see the scars from the countless battles he has been in.
Personality:
Lyulf is a stubborn and an honorable dwarf, one who loves to fight and drink. He is caring and kind to his friends and loved ones, but can be rude and cruel toward those he does not know. He is a patient dwarf who loves his woman more than anything, and he will protect those he is fond off. Like other Kal-Sharok dwarves he hates those of Orzammar, believing justice one day will come to those who deserve it. He is a dwarf who loves fighting and always enjoys a good brawl, he is brave and honest and he will always fight on the front lines in the heat of battle. He may not be as clever as his wife, but clever enough to know when there is danger involved and when to quit, although he rarely ever quit as he likes his work rather complete than half finished.
HISTORY
Under the deep surface of the world, in the dark and the abandoned Deep Roads, Lyulf was born. His mother had been a member of the Legion of the Dead, but had died while giving birth to him. When a grim fate seemed to await the newborn child, he was luckily discovered by the dwarf Rogar of House Azagale and he was taken to be fostered in Kal-Sharok.
There Lyulf grew up as a member of the warrior house, with Rogar and Atira as his foster parents, growing up along with their daughter Hildred. Over the childhood years, Lyulf was taught how to fight and how to defend himself, like all other children in the warrior caste, even though House Azagale was of the noble caste. Being attacked by Darkspawn in Kal-Sharok was common; ever since they had been sealed off from Orzammar two hundred years ago. With no King to lead them they had kept the assembly, which was located in Sharokovar Thaig, where the Azagale family remained as one of five. When Lyulf and Hildred still were young and the Darkspawn attacked, they were often kept safe in the Vaults along with the other defenseless dwarves.
At the age of nine, Lyulf killed his first Darkspawn and as he grow older he killed many more. Being forced to fight for survival had made the Kal-Sharok dwarves accept women into their warrior ranks and thus it was not rare, that Lyulf found himself fighting alongside Hildred from time to time. In the beginning they stayed as close friends, but as they entered the teenage years the feelings Lyulf had, had turned into love and his desires for Hildred seemed to never stop. The way she moved in the heat of battle made Lyulf feel all warm and fuzzy inside, and oh how the woman could drink, an amazing woman he thought she was, but he deared not to admit it.
When Lyulf reached the age of 23, things became dire in Kal-Sharok. Darkspawn swarmed the Deep Roads like never before and often were the dwarves attacked three times a day. It was during that time Kal-Sharok was close to falling again and as the Darkspawn laid siege on the ruined dwarven city, Lyulf`s foster parents died in the attack as they had been placed on the very front lines due to the wishes of Azagale`s rival family, House Tranador. Had it not been for the courage of Lyulf and Hildred who took command of the dwarves in the close defeat, then they would have all have parished. Lyulf and Hildred brought victory and together they watched the Darkspawn scatter before their eyes.
It was after their great victory that Lyulf first deared to tell about his feelings for Hildred, when he fell ill and came close to dying. It proved her feelings was mutual and gladly he did not die and once he again could stand, Lyulf and Hildred was celebrated as heroes. Shortly after they were both elected and voted on to be part of the assembly, stepping in for those of house Azagale which had fallen. They became the first and foremost house that got to be in charge of Kal-Sharok`s garrison. With the many lower houses whom were allied to them, they fought back the Darkspawn that remained close to their Kingdom.
Defeating more and more Darkspawn, Lyulf and Hildred was later given the title High Lord and High Lady, voted to be the first King and Queen of Kal-Sharok since ages past, but with another title that kept them separate from their distant dwarven kin. On the same day Lyulf and Hildred was crowned High Lord and High Lady, they married and became husband and wife.

Together they brought prosperity and wealth to Kal-Sharok and after many years it became a city that flourished once again, but still stood vigil in case the Darkspawn were to return. As the Darkspawn activity grew less and less in the Deep Roads, the dwarves of Kal-Sharok grew curious and thus it happened they sent out a party to look for reasons why and Lyulf lead the group personally. What he found was a lair crawling of talking Darkspawn and in their midst he found a curious figure whom he never had seen before. Who he was Lyulf never knew, but as long the Darkspawn stayed away from Kal-Sharok he was happy and so he returned with the news.
Today Kal-Sharok continues to rebuild itself after its long wars, and still they stand on watch, fighting the Darkspawn who ventures close to their gates and where Lyulf and Hildred leads the dwarves into a new era.
