CHARACTERISTICS
Appearance: Anna is a very simple looking beautiful girl, she stands about 5'5 and is rather curvy. Though it's kind of hard to see it wit4h the dresses that she wears. Her hair is a light brown, that is long, goes past her shoulder blades and is very curly. She wears all kinds of dresses, any where from an off tan to golden. What ever fits her mood, she likes all kinds of colors even if she doesn't look it. And her brother had been born four years before she was, and being a boy he didn't hang out with his sister.
Personality: Right now she is some what of a mystery, not many people know her accept those closest. With her father dead, she has become a little bitter. She is afraid to open herself up, afraid to trust people. Accept the man she lusts over, but she also loves him. She is rather kind to him, but also a bit selfish as well since she wants a higher rank within the world.
HISTORY
Anna was raised in a loving home, though her mother died giving birth to her. Leaving her in the care of her fathers servants when her father couldn't take care of her. Her father was Duke Prosper de Montfort, he wasn't really the kind of man you bond with. But he did love his daughter and knew that, she was well educated. Without a mother, Anna spent a lot of the time with her fathers servants growing up. Her brother never really wanted anything to do with her, all he thought about was following in there fathers footsteps. She wanted his approval, her fathers and brothers. But figured she would never get it because she wasn't a man.
With the kind of man her father was, she never had friends. Her father wanting her to hang out with certain kids, those with a high status or that matched her own. So she never had friends of her own, not of her own age any way. Her father was always busy, her brother always with there father. So she only had the servants to talk to, sure they were all very nice and respectful. But she always wanted someone of her own age, even have a little friend that was a boy. Perhaps someone that she would marry, but they were only dreams. Because something else was on the horizon, and it wasn't anything good. When she was about fourteen the blight started.
At first she wasn't to worried about it, it stayed away from there home. But she noticed within four years, it was starting to come right around the area. Anna was well loved in the house, among her fathers people. Even befriended a knight who she looked up to, as perhaps another brother. But the wardens took him from her, since they loved to conscript people. And she never heard from him again, the warden had taken out many of her adult friends. Leaving her alone in the world, it hit her hard when her fathers men went to defend them as the blight got closer. And no one seemed to come back, it killed her emotionally. The blight lasted a year.
Then the civil war happened, she didn't have much stake there. Keeping safe, her family had been on the side of the Empress for as long as she could remember. But unfortunately, within three years. Her father had been murdered by an assassin, she didn't know his or her name. And her brother took over, which scared her in a way. Because that was when there family turned sides, away from the Empress. Being a woman she couldn't do much, but she didn't want to betray anyone. But that was what happened, the family turning there back on her. To stay in a high status, wanting much more. And she knew her brother wanted to marry her off as soon as he could.
But then she met Emperor Gespard, she didn't want to learn to feel for him. Because she knew all to well, that he slept with women. And figured it would never stop, but she just couldn't help herself. She became smitten with him, and wanted to be his wife. Sure she wanted the status for her own, but she also wanted to mean something to him. Not just another woman that he has bed, but she doesn't know where she will end up. Only time would tell right now. With the Mage-Templar war going on right now, she was afraid of what may happen. Unsure of what to do.
