CHARACTERISTICS
Appearance:Stephan is a stylized man, one who always loves to look his best to impress the women. He is medium size built and is average high like all Nevarrans, his body is kind of weak, but he can be strong when it matters. He has brown/golden hair, has a beard and mustache when he does not shave it and his eyes are brown/green.
Personality: Stephan is a clever man, one who knows the costumes of how to be and act as a royalty. He is a proper man of great standards, but a paranoid man due to what he witnessed during his teenage years of his life. Even he is a kind and gentle, one who is very passionate and loving; he is also a sex addict, a womanizer. Because of his illness he does not know how to fight, though his strength lies elsewhere as he uses his wisdom to gain the respect and wealth he desires.
HISTORY
Stephan was born in Nevarra, in the very heart of its land at its capital Nevarra City. He was raised as the firstborn son and heir to the royal family, the Pentaghast clan, a clan famous for its numerous Dragon Hunters. As a young boy Stephan was taught how to be clever and noble, and he was taught the values of being a member of his clan. Often was he told stories about his great ancestors who slew dragons, and who still was out there hunting, even few dragons were known to exist. Over and over again, Stephan was told by those who taught him that; “A wealth of a Nevarran does not come easily by coin; it is earned through respect and through adventure, one which most young Nevarrans have to learn by traveling and seeking their own fortune.” Although Stephan whom was born a royalty, and who carried an illness, was not able to travel as most young Nevarrans did, and thus he was forced to gain respect and wealth within the walls of the palace, a difficult task for a young royalty, but one which he grew to manage well as he became a clever man, even he never managed to handle a sword and a shield properly.
During his life as a kid, Stephan grew up with few friends, but got a little sister when he was eight and he gained a close bond to one especially, the daughter of the Captain of the Royal Guard, Jenna Karalis. One who often took notice in him and cared for him when no one else did, and Stephan grew to like her. Often did he try to spend time with her, but mostly he was kept distant from her, due to her regular training to become a warrior while he had to study. It pained him to not be able to play and do the things other kids could do, but Stephan embraced the life he had and he often found comfort in being with Jenna when opportunity presented itself. However it was not before he became a teenager that he discovered the true nature behind Jenna, as she became rather fond of being with other girls than with men. It made Stephan feel alone, and even more so when Jenna left to gain experience and wealth as a dragon hunter apprentice.
At the age of sixteen, when the Grand Tourney was decided to be held in Cumberland, Stephan and his father, the King…traveled to attend the event. It was during that time of Stephan`s life that would forever change him and the country dramatically. The day he accompanied his father to watch the tournament as his best friend Jenna was attending the finals, he watched upon the balcony as she was fighting the Chevalier named Forsard Malcote and just as she were about to win, a great devastation happened. The entire arena fell to pieces as the tribune exploded around, and Stephan fell into a pile of ruins, witnessing the death of his father. Luckily he was saved by Jenna just in the nick of time when the rest seemed to collapse. The Grand Tourney ended badly, and some weeks later it was discovered that what had happened was an assassination attempt on Stephan`s father, but it was never figured who had caused so many deaths.
The insecurity of whom had killed his father made Stephan slightly paranoid as he became king some month`s after the event, the responsibility fo the kingdom all fell onto him and he felt unworthy to rule, but would do it in the memory of his father. He made Jenna as his Captain of the royal guard, as her father also had died in the great explosion. Stephan`s mother became his councilor, even though he often refused her assistance, something which she in return refused to let happen. Over the years that went by, Stephan managed to stay calm even his paranoia sometimes took hold on him. When he could not sleep, having nightmares dreaming of the past and would happen in the future, he often invited his friend Jenna to watch over him, even he knew she was not interested in him the way he wanted her to be. Stephan later married a Ferelden woman, known to be related to the Wulff family of West Hill, a family well known by the Pentaghast clan. Today Stephan rule Nevarra as a grown King, but still his mother holds a lot of power over him. Stephan believe that it could have been his mother who assassinated his father, although the options of whom could be many.
