As everyone knows, in Dragon Age: Origins you get to choose a number of Origins for your character. I would like to know the favorites of everyone here on the board!
Mine would have to be. 1st. A tie between Human Noble, and City Elf. They have proved to be the best in my opinion, offering one of the best gaming experiences I've ever had. Hope they do this in DA3.
2nd. The Magi - I liked that you got to go through the Harrowing and became a mage, but the Origin was a little to abrupt. I hope in later installments you can get a feel for what real life is in Thedas like the did in Skyrim.
3rd. The Dalish Elf, it had a great story better than the Magi in my opinion, only reason it got the three spot is because I was dissapointed with Merrill's voice. LOL.
Those are my top three! Now Thedians! What are your favs?

Dalish Elf. Easily the Dalish elf - must have played through the whole game with that origin at least two or three times. After that, I liked city elf and dwarf commoner, mainly because they really show the worst side of the people and culture in Thedas. All the other origins try to make everything seem nicer than they are, but those two origins aren't afraid to really get down and dirty.

Sometimes I wonder whether the Architect is truly evil.

I liked the grimness of the commoner side, but I more preferred the Human Noble line - at least I got proper respect from others. In all reality, however, I think I liked the Dalish Elf line the most. So much mystery to start with, and absolutely loved those humans in the beginning I always killed them.

In therms of the origin itself, human noble and city elf is defiantly my favorites. The human noble was quite sad to me, and the city elf quite well down, really capturing how city elves would live.
As for the origin overall...well, I would have to say Magi. Yes the origin is a bit lackluster compared to the others, but the content you get in the game itself, is really great. You have the return to the tower, your mini-romance with cullen, the relationship with first enchanter Irwing, and of course Jowan, which makes the redcliff quest all the more interesting. And your interactions with Wynne as well.

My first would have to be City Elf, it really captures the life within the Alienages, plus... I adore Elves.
And secondly, Human Noble, the whole betrayal scenario always catches my attention... plus... gotta love that you can marry Alistair if female XD
