Gear: Keldian usually is seen wearing his customary clothing; a long red silk coat, decorated with fine marks and shapes.
CHARACTERISTICS
Appearance: Keldian prefers his silk garments over any other manner of clothing; perhaps a part of this preferring is due to the demon inside him He prefers not to wear anything resembling to a helmet; he even has trouble with hoods. It would be highly useful for him, though, for sometimes a flicker of white light are seen in his eyes, which usually means that the demon is talking to him internally. When he calls for the demon, his eyes flash very brightly, and he is engulfed by white flames; they cannot hurt but those nearest to him, but it is more useful in flying than fighting.
Personality: Keldian has scholarly interests towards anything living, be it a plant, a tree, or an animal. He does not care much for humans, elves, or dwarves, but he wants to find out about those who nobody ever speaks of - how the bird flies, how it sings, how the deer lives, how a demon is summoned. His interest starts with regular, harmless things, but as you go further up the list, the more ambitious his goals seem to be. And successfully summoning and taking control of a demon was one of them. He was a good person, caring, sympathetic, even, but sometimes he could not control himself.
The arrival of the Demon of Pride had shook the very fundamentals of Keldians personality. He became cold, ruthless, while occasionally showing unbelievable generosity towards people in need of it. Now that the demon has settled in, his usual behaviour has shifted from noble to arrogant and proud; the dark side of being noble. Still occasionally he could act noble, but the reasoning behind it is rather unclear...sometimes even to Keldian himself.
Occasionally, the Fade would call for the demon, putting Keldian in the danger of being moved into the Fade. He has to fight back with his willpower in order to save his mind from perishing in the hands of the demon.
HISTORY
Keldian was born in Tevinter, and as was the custom there in his family, he was taught magic since childhood as all siblings were. He had two twin brothers; nine years old when he was born, and very promising mages they seemed. Angdaral and Arhonal were their names; and as they grew up their combined power(for they always worked together) became very strong indeed. Keldian was as reckless as they were, but he had less power - "mana" - and more ambitions, which often only served in humiliating him time after time - as he grew up, he got into many a humiliating situation due to his ambitions. As Keldian turned 10, his brothers left from their homes to join the army of Tevinter - they were both 18, and they will serve their time in the army after which they would become wanderers, like Keldian. The brothers did have problems with authorities, but they hid it well. Maybe they could get far - Keldian had no idea how the army was like, nor did he care to know. And as he grew up, the more sophisticated his ideals became, which was naturally followed by a high respect for his own skills - and looking down at others. Still he managed to not anger too many people with his comments and remarks; he remained a respectful(and respected) member of the Tevinteran society.
He was(and is) easily hurt and also hurts other people rather easily, sometimes not even noticing that he had done so. He is a more balanced mix of light and shadow; he spends as much time in protecting others from real harm that he does avenging imagined insults pointed at his person. He is intelligent and smart, albeit sometimes being a little careless. Abigor twisted this side of his personality, so that he rarely even tries to protect other people; he has trouble feeling emotion after the demon had corrupted his soul and will. Keldian finally tried to break free of the limits he had set to himself, by becoming a scholar; this was his way of trying to become a better, wiser man, but his ambitions proved too great. His lust for honour made him stray from the path he had set himself, and there he was, a man with a demon lurking inside him.

He felt his consciousness activating in the cool shadows of the Fade. His opportunity had finally came; and he clinged onto it, clutched it with all his might, and soon felt his restrictions falter. It had only took him a few seconds of concentrating to break this mages will. He felt his consciousness moving, as if drained in some hole, and then darkness.
"Did it work, sir? Are you all right? Your consciousness faded for a while, I guess, for you just fell on the ground like a dead man. But the book said that it's normal for such rituals." 'I hear a voice... huh, I still feel a little dizzy. And I feel very tight, as if sealed somewhere dark and safe. What...? ' Then he heard a voice thundering extremely loud; it babbled something. Only barely could he understand what it said.
"Yes, it worked. But come, please help me, friend. I feel a little dizzy," said Keldian, and fell in thought. 'So now the demon is inside me... I wonder can I hear it think? I guess I could - even now I hear careful, distant echos in my head, as if they were stranded thoughts of another being...yes, certainly interesting.'
The demon grasped it quickly. He was sealed inside a body: he could see what Keldian saw, he could hear what Keldian heard and so on. But why were his eyes closed? He tried opening them, and suddenly he could see. Seemingly his host had noticed nothing yet. Then he heard the now clearer voice speak, and the human turned around to face the man - most generous, considering that the demon was very interested on what was happening.
"Yes, of course, sir", came the answer. "We will return to town when you have recovered, sir, am I right?," the man continued; he appeared to be the servant of the human.
"Indeed we will, and we shall do it now. I feel excellent, Marcus," said Keldian. The demon, Abigor, felt the human moving again. It was such a long time since when he had been on Thedas... he would have to get used to it again.
