Below you`ll find a list of countries that has rulers and who needs rulers. Feel free to pick a country or a city you want to rule.

Ferelden - Ruled by King Alistair and Queen Anora
Empire of Orlais - Ruled by Gespard de Chalons/Celene I
Nevarra - (Ruled by a Monarchy)
Antiva - Queen Lucretia Valisti (Ruled as a Plutocracy)
Tevinter Imperium - Myles (Future Archon)/(Ruled by Archon Wallerius, see canon list)
Anderfels - (Ruled by King Mark and Queen Julia, see canon list)
Par Vollen - (Ruled by a Triumvirate: Arishok, Ariqun and Arigena)

The Free Marches and Rivain has no rulers, there cities are ruled individually.

Below is a certain rule all rulers of Thedas must know about, taken out from the Forum Rules:

2.3 If your character is a nobility or a royalty, you must be sure to keep track on your estate, household and land. For example: If you are the current ruler of Ferelden, then it will be your task to add the thread which explains your division of your people and army, as well important structures in your land like your estate, inns and other information in general. To begin dividing your army from the people, look at your country`s total population number in the thread; Thedas Population.
