What do you guys do to make your posts go?
I know for me, I listen to blaring music, dependant on the scene and character. For example, Rise Against and Trapt are standard fare for Wolfy, Avril Lavigne standard for Alaina - Immortal Technique and Jedi Mind Tricks for intense scenes where I want to get annngrrryyy, and instrumentals in really sad scenes.
What about you guys?

Silence - silence is always best for me. Or, believe it or not, sewing or tying knots. Anything repetitive.

Doing anything creative, really. If writing isn't top notch, I listen to music and imagine, or do computer graphics for funz, or write songs in POM2, or hang out with people, or then just do something which is fun: badminton, chatting, etc.

My shame will help me keep my vigilance. And what is left.... Of my soul.

If it is a new thread that I'm starting..... I start by imagining what the idea of the thread would/could/should end up with somehow/someway.
If it's a thread I'm joining, I 'paint the scene' in my mind and imagine myself/my character there like it was a film or something.
But it's mostly the emotion and feel of the thread is how I work.
.... Does that answer the question?
