CHARACTERISTICS
Appearance: Standing at 5ft 10 and weighing in at 132lbs. Maria has sea blue eyes and charcoal black hair; her hair can reach down over her bustline and past her shoulders. Being a Dragon Huntress and Knight of Nevarra she has an athletic body and is fairly muscular but only to a point when its not visible, but she is strong enough to wear full armour plating or to be able to carry any kind of close combat weapon.
Personality: Maria is a woman who enjoys the thrill of battle and the exhilaration of meeting opponents, blade to blade and fighting creatures. She is more about weapons, and battle then being a woman. She has the blood of a warrior and thus is pretty hard to scare while her courage makes her a strong force on the battlefield. Despite having a tough exterior Maria is a loyal knight of Nevarra and will do anything to uphold her family honour and will do her best to protect her cousins and follows the will of her king without any objections whatsoever.
HISTORY
Maria was born within the royal family of the Pentaghast clan. Her mother was the sister to the father of Stephan and Ariadne, as well Cassandra. While her father was a nobleman who was born in Nevarra, they meet under political circumstances and thus fell in love. Together they had a baby girl and named her Maria, for most of her life Maria was chosen to become a Dragon Huntress and from young age she was taught strategies, cleaning weapons, armour and shields. And finally training in the art of combat, of course this was all done after she was taught how to read and write. During her training Maria met another young woman named Jenna, who was also undergoing the training to became a Dragon Huntress.
Often the two would try to outmatch the other in friendly competition. Sometimes their training often led to them training together, but they soon became as close as sisters. After fourteen years of long hard training which involved physical and mental training, Maria became a courageous fighter and was given the title as Knight of Nevarra and dubbed the Dragon Huntress. Now she serves her cousin with honour and respect, while doing her best to protect her family.
