9:40, the Dragon Age
The Mage-Templar War continues to escalate, with the Circles of Magi no longer operational, the free mages have all fled to safety. In the ruins of an Ancient Tevinter Fortress, most mages have now gathered at Andoral`s Reach, while the Seekers of Truth and the Templars prepare an persecution under the command of Lord Seeker Lambert who has issued an separation from the Chantry, believing the White Divine unfit for her position. A few loyal Seekers and Templars still serve the White Divine faithfully and through her orders they now try to resolve the conflict with as little bloodshed as possible, in search for the Champion of Kirkwall and the Hero of Ferelden.
Meanwhile a great unrest spreads throughout the lands of Thedas, where in many parts civil war has begun, where Elves have grown restless and where faith are splitting the people in half. The Tevinter Imperium whom for centuries has been in war with the Qunari now sees an opportunity never offered before, wanting to aid the Mages to achieve goals of their own. However the Qunari have also noticed the unbalance in the world and as it seems to fall apart, the Qunari believes it to be their duty to bring peace and order to the instability, possibly preparing a mass scaled invasion that will convert everyone to their faith.
Reports from the Gray Wardens have also mentioned a mysterious activity among the Darkspawn, though they are seen less on the surface there are something worse brewing. Is the Mage-Templar War the only to be feared, or is something worse coming their way?
“It is in the hands of the Maker now, we`ll put our faith in him…”
