Gear: Being a noble of Gwaren have made Landon a very rich man, who can offered whatever he wants. He owns several noble clothes and a costume made armor made by the greatest smiths in Ferelden. He owns a one and a half handed sword and the shield of Gwaren, all made to suit his desires.
CHARACTERISTICS
Appearance: Landon is a handsome man, well trained and tall. He has blond short hair and brown/green eyes, he has a beard but keeps it shaved at all time, featuring his handsome chin and jaw. Being born a commoner but becoming a nobleman has changed him into a man who has learned to walk garcefully and with a head held high, showing off his arrogance, believing himself to be better than anyone else. His body and muscles are shaped after his constant training and by the wars at the battlefields, something which has turned him into a man adored by woman all over, with a look and smell better than most men of Ferelden. Surprisingly however he does not have many scares on his body, even he has been in many battles, this being because he is so well trained whom has managed to avoid most serious strikes that have tried to kill him. Like his skin, the armor as well shows little sign of combat.
Personality: Being a man of common birth but risen in rank and title has made Landon into the man he is today. He is a very smart man, arrogant, quick witted, ambitious, brave, determined, outspoken, conniving, patient, skilled tactician, skilled warrior, bloodthirsty, dutiful, proper, polite, a womanizer, charismatic, knows secrecy and is an opportunist. All which has aided him into the life he now has earned, being a general among the Ferelden soldiers, the advisor to the Queen and the current Tyrne of Gwaren.
HISTORY
Landon was born in Gwaren some years after the Orlesian occupation, though he was left an orphan and raised by the noble family Gawaine. None knew who is father was, but everyone had known his mother as she had been a kind woman within Gwaren, though who had suffered a fate of death while giving birth to Landon in a very young age. Landon grew up to become a nobleman, but was not spoiled by his foster parents. Instead he was treated as most common folk within the city, learning how to fish, hunt, track, fight with swords and shoot with bow and arrow, along with his brother`s and sister. In fact he grew to love it and in a young age he wanted to advance his skills with the sword and he quickly became used to it, becoming one of the most skilled swordsman in Gwaren.
Growing up in the city which Loghain had been appointed to rule as Teyrn, made Landon`s family close friend of his, as they often attended the meetings within the castle. Although it was not before Landon`s teenage years that he was allowed to accompany his father or mother, whenever a feast was held. Being there among the nobles bored Landon, but it was such how he learned to behave around them. His foster parents always tried to make him and Anora a couple, though Loghain never accepted it as he had other plans for Anora. Landon however fell to like Anora, even she did not seem very interested in him at that time.
As the years went by, Landon grew to become a handsome and a skilled man. He was adored by many women and often would he have his way with them, among his family he was known as the charming one or the great warrior. When the Blight came to Ferelden, Landon accompanied his foster father to Ostagar where they together would face the Darkspawn among the army and the Gray Wardens, as a part of Loghain`s troops. The battle was lost due to Loghain`s betrayal, and Landon and his foster father was shocked by the command they were given when they were commanded to leave the King to die. As only noble warriors beneath the rank of Loghain, they had to obey and once they left, all the warriors of Loghain had to swear secrecy of what happened that day and to rather blame the Gray Wardens for the King`s death, reluctantly Landon and his foster faster agreed and traveled with Loghain to Denerim.
What followed after the battle at Ostagar was the ever growing cloud of Darkspawn that filled the land with fear and chaos, and a civil war caused between Loghain and Arl Eamon. Landon was given many missions as captain to lead the troops of Loghain in battle against the rebels, and he always was successful on his missions, though it was during the civil war that his foster father died in combat. It affected Landon emotionally, but with the hatred boiling, he instead took it out upon the enemies who had killed his foster father and he continued to rise in rank and title faster than any other. He became one of Loghain`s trusted men and he learned from him, being a loyal soldier and a good friend to Anora, his daughter.
During the landsmeet held between the nobles of Ferelden, Landon stood guard among Loghain`s men, but was unable to hinder the execution of his commander as every noble voted against Loghain because of his crimes. Seeing Alistair becoming voted king frustrated Landon and he wanted to see him dead, believing Loghain`s actions to be more righteous and true, though he mostly disliked the idea of seeing Alistair being married to Anora, whom Landon had begun to grow very fond of. After the landsmeet Loghain`s troops and Eamon`s joined forces against the Darkspawn and together with King Alistair and Aedan Cousland they defeated the Blight, killing the archdemon in Denerim, upon Drakon`s tower. During the battle Landon was in charge of guarding the gates, allowing no Darkspawn to flee from the city, and he did well, slaying as many he could until the battle ended.
As Alistair was crowned King of Ferelden and when he took Anora as Queen, he watched as Anora`s personal guard, but was later appointed by his friend and Queen Anora as general of the army, the new Teyrn of Gwaren and the Queen`s personal advisor, considering his loyalty which he had held with her father and the bravery he had shown on the battlefield. During the ten years that passed, Landon became a close friend to Anora and her lover, living in Denerim and ruling Gwaren as Teyrn.
