Currently, I'm chewing my way through the Discworld novels. I let them lie for so many years, but now I get the hype. Terry Prattchet is the GOD KING of medieval comedy.

Haha nice!  I at the moment am actually reading Dragon Age: The Calling. I am halfway through and have read both the books The Stolen Throne and Asunder. I really love the writing style to David Gaider..and oh haha, of course, I have also read all the Tolkien books, how could I not. xD And yes, I am soon going to read the books by George R.R Martin. |

He's seriously the best contender for greatest fantasy writer of our time.

I am currently on book 5 of A Song of Ice and Fire by George RR Martin - those books are amazing.

A sick fascination with cliffhangers, and making extraordinary characters... and then doing horrible, horrible things to them. Seriously, with his books, the more you like a character, the more you have to distance yourself from them, or there will be tears. Now, of course, beyond that NO SPOILERS!! We will not use specific names in the midst of the uninitiated.

After awhile, for some of them, you really just wish they would die, not because they're evil, but because they've quite frankly suffered enough.
And then there are other characters, characters that need to die screaming, that NEED to die slowly... and fucking refuses to kill them!! *rageface*

Just started "Fledgling" by Octavia Butler, a really good, nontraditonal sort of vampire story. Pretty heavy stuff at points, and some stuff is more than a little unsettling, but I'm really getting into it now....

I'm reading "Good Omens" be Terry Pratchett and Niel Gaiman. Irreverent in the extreme, but that's the point of satire. Very, very good book.
