Kinloch Hold - 9:30 Late Summer
Stepping through the corridors, Charlise slightly brushed down her robes and part of her hair as she swallowed a little bit. It was odd to have be summoned by the First Enchanter, mind it was odder still to have woken up and found that four days had passed since she took her Harrowing.
Her mind was still a little rattled when she had stepped in to see Irving, who confirmed that she passed her Harrowing before giving the expected instructions as well as her new robes, Ring of Study and her Staff. An Enchanter's Staff ironically, much like what Wynne used which she had commented as she slipped on the Ring onto her right hand. "It's a shame she couldn't be here to congratulate you..... But I'm sure she'd be mighty proud of you, child. Try to write a letter when you can, the day is yours." Irving had replied before dismissing her to go and change with the reminder to give the Apprentice Robes to someone for the next Apprentice.
So she was wandering around, trying to find somewhere to change. Uldred had done quite a number with the Tower, and that thought alone sent a shiver down Charlise's spine as she remembered those times where she was so frightened, she was very happy to see Wynne. Mind a wandering as much as her legs, Charlise automatically found herself back at in the Library on the First Floor. "Maker's Breath! Now how did I get here?" She groaned a little as she stepped behind a fallen bookcase, "This will do..." She muttered as she speedily changed, and felt much better in the more fitted robes before feeling the difference in self-confidence that these robes held as she stepped out into the light to better look down at herself. "Wynne....." She paused before whispering to herself, "Thank you, Mother..."
