The forest was silent. The blonde man liked that, it made things more interesting. His keen eyes watched the deer, it had no idea of how close it was to the pot. Nocking an arrow he drew back the bow string and aimed silently, the arrow tip quivering slightly as it hovered over the animal's head. Then it bolted. Shooting an angry glare at the the aspirant Connor he set off in pursuit, this was their meal for tonight and he wasn't letting a catch like this escape. Dashing through the trees at near full sprint speed, pacing himself just enough to give himself maybe a couple of minutes. He didn't need that long however as he suddenly halted, grimacing as he saw an arrow striking the animal. It was not to be his kill apparently. Sighing he looked at the figure approaching the animal. It would be her... "Ah, looks like my hunting hounds did their job in luring this beautiful creature my way..." A feminine voice smirked as she looked at her kill. "Tch, I'd have had it twenty yards back if Connor hadn't spooked him..." Azrael sniffed, slinging his bow over his shoulder as he glanced back at the young man running to catch up. "Of course little brother, I will point out however that your young aspirant performed exactly as I expected him to." Catherine Talin smiled, pulling down her hood and looking at the sixteen year old hunter rapidly approaching, cocking her head slightly as he dropped to his knees in front of them. "Please, don't disembowel me for my failure milord, I swear it won't happen again..." He sputtered, clasping his hands together. "Ulric?" Catherine asked, looking to the blonde man. "Ulric." Azrael sighed in agreement, hauling the younger man to his feet. "Do not apologise for your mistakes Connor, simply ensure that you learn from them." He stated simply, placing his hands on the hunter's shoulders. Suddenly both he and Catherine span, bows raised and pointing to a spot in the trees. "Show yourself!"

It had been so long since Arley had been to the coast lands of Ferelden, he almost forgot that he knew his way around. The many years of adventuring, fighting darkspawn, and Templars, among other things. It was nice to finally return home, he had passed through his home village and it was thriving even after the Blight. Now he was just walking through the country side, he made it to a forest and walked his way through. It was peaceful, Arley thought, it wasn't often in the life of a Grey Warden to find peace, and yet here it was so close, though he knew it was only temporary, there was no way he could just stay here. Plus he liked the city better.
Arley still remembered the last time he was in a forest, it was the Bercilian Forest and he remembered that it ended very poorly, he had messed up his knee pretty bad fighting some pursuing Templars, though it wasn't all bad because he met a woman named Honovi, who he still can't find, he eventually stopped looking. As he kept walking he could hear talking in the distance. Strange to hear talking in such a secluded place...Could it be Templars coming to get him again? He didn't know, but he would soon find out. He remembered how gracefully Honovi scaled and ran through trees, and decided that he would get good at it also, so he climbed a tree headed toward the source of the voices. He swore he could feel a Warden's presence but out here you could never be too sure, he felt it though that was certain. He still decided to keep his distance, even if it was a Warden they could be coming after him to punish him for compromising their neutrality.
Arley looked down and it was a few people, they looked like they were hunting, but he couldn't be sure. He stepped to get closer but cracked a branch and found himself on the wrong end of some nocked arrows.
"Don't fret! I mean no harm," Arley said as he jumped from the trees. "Please don't be alarmed, I am Arley Voegeli, Grey Warden. Who might you be?"

Slowly lowering his short bow Azrael silently regarded the man in front of him. A warden? He certainly had the gear for it, though he'd been on both sides of that trick. He was still considering this even as Catherine, who had clearly completed her own assessment of the man, stepped forwards. "Greetings, I am Catherine Talin, eldest daughter of Arl Edmund Talin and this is my brother, captain Azrael Talin." The blonde woman stated simply, placing a hand in the centre of her chest and bowing slightly. Taking this as his cue Azrael also stepped forwards. "Nice to meet you Arley, are you here on official warden business? Off to Orzammar maybe?" He smiled, though somewhere in the back of his mind he was sizing the man up, just in case. Flicking out his skinning knife in his free hand he gestured to the fallen deer behind him. "You're welcome to join us for a spot of venison if you want either way."

Arley looked at the two as the female stepped forward, she told him that he name was Catherine and they were Arl Edmund's children. Arley took his hood down.
"Wow...Lots of blonde folks around," Arley chuckled. He looked at the woman, and her brother, they looked like they where a tad older than himself. The man who was called Azrael looked unusually young, almost boyish. He looked at the woman, Catherine, she was beautiful, and Arley found himself staring, then he realized that he was being spoked to.
"Yes, I am on official Warden business actually, I am sort of a recruiter, but right now I am looking for a door to the Deep Roads. There have been darkspawn spotted in the area, have you seen any by chance?" Arley doubted that they did, as that wasn't the reason he was even here, though he had heard rumors that there actually was an entrance to the Deep Roads.
Arley looked at the freshly killed deer, "I would love some venison. Though if you don't mind my asking, what are you doing here?" Arley asked

Azrael struggled not to laugh as he saw Arley momentarily lost for words as the warden stared agog at his elder sister. However as the warden spoke his mind suddenly jolted into full action, reports of Darkspawn? Here? His thought process broke for a moment as Catherine turned to him. "Have your scouts reported anything brother?" She asked, a faint smile finding it's way onto her lips, she knew full well that by implying that there were better scout in the area she may as well be insulting him directly. "Well, sporadic sightings, it's quietened down over the last couple of years. Not so many on the surface and less frightened villagers mistaking their neighbours' children for genlocks and whatnot but we do deal with the occasional few, a hunter reported finding a supposed entrance to the deep roads recently and I forwarded the report to the wardens, presumably that's the one you're after. Though you're a good... six hours out from here if it is where I believe it to be." He stated, shrugging as he did so before casually tossing the knife to Connor. "Like I showed you kiddo, hide, meat and antlers." Pausing only to watch the young hunter start work he looked the warden in the eye, a smile crossing his face. "A little brother-sister bonding, training a new kid to my company and not forgetting finding some fresh deer." Momentarily he checked over his shoulder, nodding as he quickly made sure that Connor's technique was correct. "Perhaps though our plan for the day has changed. I say we have the venison and then we'll help you deal with the darkspwan. Would you allow us to join you Arley?"
