CHARACTERISTICS
Appearance: Despite her objections to the otherwise, Lucina has always been described as a younger version of Meredith, up to three years ago, Lucina barely paid attention to such talk but now it brings her almost shame to have the same blond, slightly wavy, hair and icy blue eyes that Meredith herself held.
Due to her Templar training and use of a Two Handed sword, Lucina has a slightly more toned physique than many women do, however it hasn't stopped men from trying to see her, despite her clear refusal.
Personality:Lucina is a very complicated person, due to recent events which complicated her more than her past. However she has not forgotten her Loyalty to the Order despite the fact that under Meredith's rule she had begun to question whether it was the Chantry's and Order's rule she followed or Meredith's personal one.
At first she will seem somewhat distant, now more than ever but once you crack the icy blue eyes and look deep into her as well as know her, you are likely to have a friend for life; unless you are a Blood Mage then you better run.
Strong hearted, willful and yet has a kind heart buried under the found guilt of the duties Meredith had her perform. Lucina is a warrior and friend you'd want at your side. Despite her thorns for Blood Mages and those whose loyalty is..... Estranged.
HISTORY
Born in Ferelden to a Ferelden Templar for a Father and Grandfather, a Blacksmith for a Grandmother and an escaped Orlesian Mother, Lucina's life was bound in a strange sense of fate or purpose as she would call it; for when she turned one, her family moved to Kirkwall, her parents to a farm just outside of Kirkwall and her Grandparents to a Smithy inside the city where Lucina remained.
Until her fifth year when a Blood Mage came into their home for a respite and her Father realised who the person actually was so rose to defend his family, not realising that as his sword swept passed Lucina, the blade had cut slightly into her side. Unfortunately, the Malificar noticed and used the young girl's blood to kill her own parents and then the attempt to kill her, though that was thwarted by a passing group of Templars who struck down the Mage and sought help for the scared young girl before taking her to her last Relative, her Grandmother.
For many years, Lucina's scar across her side healed as did her heart by beginning her sword training, bringing with it discipline and the mindset to take her Family Sword and follow the tradition by becoming a Templar, which she did with distinction under the eyes of Meredith whom she grew to respect, look up to, admire and even come to care for the woman underneath the Templar exterior who she saw as a Mother type figure having lost her own at a young age.
Rising up the ranks steadily, Lucina continued, time and again, to prove that she was loyal to Meredith as well as the Order and would not listen to anyone who would say that her Knight-Commander was crazy. Until that fateful night, where the Mages and Templars clashed in the horrific battle that changed Lucina to the point that she stood against her beloved Commander with (at the time) Knight-Captain Cullen and watched in horror her Mentor's demise.
Since that point, she has tried time and again to remove herself from the Templars, stating that she needed to be cleansed. Each time she was refused, but she continues her loyalty to Cullan despite the fact that she feels that she must earn her place of loyalty with him no matter how loyal she was under Meredith's rule. But her will remains strong.

Kneeling alone in her room, Lucina continued her religious prayers to the Maker for her soul to be cleansed of the work that Meredith had convinced her to do 'for what was right', looking back on it now, Lucina hated to think that she believed that what she was doing a lot of the time was right. Granted, she tried to make sure that Meredith was killing or pushing the Rite of Tranquility to Mages who were reasoned to have such things upon them.
But still she felt dirty as she continued her prayers before she groaned and stood up, leaving her room to go outside and practise on what it was they had with her Great-Sword. Somehow, Cullen kept on refusing her wish to permanently leave the Templar Order and that her Sword be taken from her. Surely, she didn't deserve such mercy from a man who had sometimes questioned her devout loyalty.
"The Maker must have His reasons... And who am I to question him? For I am his servant, meant to preform His will. And I shall in order to cleanse my soul, till I am dead and hope that the Maker has mercy on my soul....." She uttered before she begun her exercises, moving her strength and yet with a grace quite strange for a Warrior. For a long time, Lucina continued this until she felt herself begin to unwind. 'One day... I shall be cleansed of my previous wrongs.... By doing what I feel is right. For all.' She thought to herself as she stayed outside for some time.
