It's 2511 and the events of the USG Ishimura have begun fading with the anticipation of the Ark. Having been in the making for thirty years, the Ark is the key to a new ship-age. It would be the first of its kind to be used, not for industrial use, but for the public; a "home away from home". Passengers would engage in a five year trip to the Titan Station to make history as the first ever public space vessel to house 6,000 people at one time.
Once tickets were sold out and the ship boarded, the Ark set for Saturn to reach a colony, but what they found wasn't close to a colony. Instead, they found shattered bits of the Station and an escape ship with a mysterious broken shard. Now, the very same infestation that destroyed the USG Ishimura is aboard the Ark and no one can save them but themselves.
