Lyaera's Application

Born Lyaera Amavaintria of a Dalish Clan, she is your typical headstrong tomboyish Elf that shows exceptionally good skill with a bow. Lyaera's family/clan were slaughtered by slavers whilst the young were carted off for slavery. Both Lyaera and her brother, Nol, were bought by a Tevinter Magister by the name of Krios. Now aged twenty-six, Lyaera is free though wishes to return to Tevinter somehow to save her brother. She isn't so keen on telling others her story when it isn't necessary, plus she is not so trusting towards others first time around. She has a strong sense of freedom and despises anyone who attempts to restrict her from it.

ღ She was born near the Brecilian Forest.
ღ She really loves apples, especially red ones.
ღ Her favorite animals are mainly bird related ones, though she also loves horses and halla.
ღ Lyaera has a dislike for Mages, not a strong one, but she finds it hard to trust them.
ღ She has her Master's crest burned into her back. Ouch.
ღ Her bow was crafted by her Grandfather, and named after him.
ღ Her daggers named Tui & Meus (which she ocassionally calls Sharp and Pointy) mean Yours & Mine in Latin.
ღ She speaks Elven, though ocassionally curses in The Imperial Language and sometimes Qunlat.
ღ She cooks, dances, and sings well due to her servicing her former Master, her dancing gives her an advantage on the battlefield.
ღ She's been in one relationship, but she prefers not to talk about it.
ღ She HATES fish.
ღ When not doing anything else, she tends to sketch people's portraits and keep them in her journal.

Friendship
Lyaera isn't so much a lone wolf, she enjoys the company of others and even sometimes hates to be alone. Whoever gains her trust she will be loyal to until the day she dies... but if they betray her, however, it is unlikely she will ever trust them again. Should a person ever harm her friends, Lyaera has no objections when it comes to returning the favor, granting an equal punishment be it threats or death. As the bond grows, Lyaera tends to act the part of a sister or mother. However, Mages will have a more difficult time gaining her friendship.


Enemies/Rivals
Not everyone likes Elves, not everyone sympathizes with slaves. Lyaera is extremely hateful towards Magisters or Slavers, anyone associated with them she will simply not get along with. As a slave, she was her Master's favorite and fellow female slaves of his would grow jealous of her. A rival can be gained should a friend ever betray her or even if someone harms her loved ones.

Romance
She isn't frigid, though Lyaera isn't all that use to affection due to her time as a slave. In a sense, one would call her traditional as she is only attracted to her own kind, though she will still comment on other races features in a friendly, if not sometimes flirty, manner. She respects her body, so she has never had a fling. Despite her tomboy attitude, she is still a woman and can be caught off guard by certain comments to the point of blushing. Again, she is not likely to be unfaithful in a relationship.

Other
Lyaera can be sometimes be easily made jealous if she is attracted to someone and another walks onto the scene, thus gaining her heart's desire's attention, but deals with things differently. She can be easily offended if mocked or disrespected due to her once being a slave, and like most women she can be a little insecure. One thing to watch out for is her bad temper, you know what they say about redheads. Some would think she suffers from some form of Post Traumatic Stress Disorder.
