My dearest diary,
Another day has passed and yet there is still no sign of Aedan, where could he have possibly wandered off to? And without a single sign nor word? How I miss him so, I long now more than ever that he was here. Thedas is falling into disorder, I have not been able to sleep well since his departure... my dreams, they are not the same as they use to be, it is like The Maker is turning his back on me yet I will always remain faithful - The Maker must have something planned for me.
Although if Aedan were here, he would be able to save us all from this. I fear that Her Grace, Divine Justinia will soon face many troubles ahead of her - I so wish that there was something I could do. Darkness seems to be all that Thedas endures at this moment. Sadly Mages and those faithful to The Maker and Andraste, The Templars, have separated themselves from the Chantry, as have the Seekers of Truth. So far she has made enemies due to her hopes to resolve things peacefully and I worry what lengths they will go to see her replaced... or worse.
The search for Marian Hawke is an especially tiresome one, but Cassandra and I hope that she who was at the heart of all this when it began will be able to help us put an end to this war before more lives are needlessly lost. Before I once thought that the Blight would be the darkest malign that I would ever live through but now I fear that this will lead to more innocents deaths. Could their disappearances possibly be a coincidence? Wherever they are I hope they return soon, Thedas needs them for I know that the few of us who seek peace will not be be granted such so simply.
Maker preserve us in these dark times and watch over us.
