Vengeance. It is all I have in my heart and it taints my very soul. If Elthena was here she would discourage this behaviour and make sure I stuck to my priestly duties. She is not here though. Nor will she ever be thanks to that murdering martyr Anders. With every fibre of my being I wish that bastard dead. I will not stop until he is six foot under. He is the cause of all problems and to eliminate him will end this all!
In moment of clarity I realise that I am not taking good care of myself. The mansion in Kirkwall where I reside is a shambles since I sent my servants away and I barely leave the master bedroom. I do not change my clothes unless I'm going from armour to tunics and back again and I find I do not sleep as often as I should. I barely manage to keep myself clean-shaven and I'm lucky to remember to keep myself clean.
No. The plot for revenge consumes me and I focus on nothing else. I cannot rest until that bastard is dead. I cannot and will not for it lies to me and me alone to do it. I thought I had a friend in Hawke but clearly I miss judged. Anders was right within grasp. It was not hard to take his life so why spare it?
Oh blessed Andraste, have I lost my way? Do I still do your work or am I driven to madness by this? I cannot let go. I wish that I could but I cannot. I will beg forgiveness when all this is over. For now I am what I am but will continue to serve.
