CHARACTERISTICS

Appearance: Ashen colored skin and no hair. Red eyes with flecks of gold. Thin by Dwarven standards. Dwarven runes(sight(around eyes(tainted)), cunning & knowledge(forehead & back of skull), dexterity(hands)) tattooed into skin using pure lyrium.

HISTORY

Born in Kal-Sharok to a Smith family Rune was given the name of Nexus due to the fact that when born he had bright blue eyes and his veins were visible so he looked like one of the old Nexus Golems of old.
Around the age of 5 Nexus(Rune) received his first Lyrium rune tattooed onto the back of his skull to help him remember everything that he learns from others of the Smith families. After receiving the tattoo Nexus(Rune) lost part of his memory, but with the help of his family remembered all that he had lost.
Upon turning 15 Nexus(Rune) got a pair of tattoos on his hands to help him with the intricate designs he had started to work into all of his Mastercraft weapons, after this tattoo he lost temporary control of his hands and lost a small portion of his memory again, but again with the help of family was able to recall everything again,
At the age of 23 Nexus got his fourth tattoo, this one on his forehead, he again lost some of his memories, but he gained an insight into what would be needed to create a light and sturdy mobile forge that could be used anywhere and at any time without having to worry about setting everything around it on fire. This time Nexus didn’t have just his family to help him remember he had a new friend that could help him remember other things that his family didn’t need to worry about just yet.
About a year later Nexus was married to the youngest daughter to one of the unknown warrior families, after which became known as one of the greatest warrior families in all of Kal-Sharok with the help of Nexus’ weapons which were said to be able to kill enemies from a distance with just one swing. About eight months later Nexus became the proud father of a set of twins’ one boy and one girl. The Boy looked just like his mother and would one day become a great warrior just like her, while the Girl looked just like Nexus as a baby and both mother and father knew that she too would continue to bring the families even greater wealth and respect without needing to go through the same pains as her father, being that she already had the faint impressions of her father’s tattoos but also some that they had never seen or thought to see again.
At the age of 30 Nexus got his final set of tattoos, these being around his eyes. Except something had gone wrong during the process of tattooing and the lyrium had become tainted by something unknown to the Dwarves. Not knowing whether or not he would survive if the stopped and waited for another batch of lyrium they continued with the tattoos. When he opened his eyes they knew he would never be the same again, but it was already too late because the tattooist was the first to die. The only one to survive the massacre was his daughter who was able to calm him and then put him to sleep.
When next Rune opened his eyes he was in a small cave near the surface and could remember nothing of how he got there or where he was from and how to get back there. After he looked around he noticed that he had everything that he would need to create something amazing…

Roleplay Experience: been roleplaying for approximately 8 years and have loved every minute of it. Hearing a commotion outside the shop the customers headed for the door and windows to see what was going on and noticed that there was a glowing Dwarf just staring at the building they were in.
Not knowing what to do Rune just stared at the building, when the door opened he was already calculating what he would need to do in order to improve the quality of all the buildings of the tiny village he had finally found after traveling for a week from the cave he had woken up in. In a thick gravelly Dwarven accent Rune asked "can you take me to the village elder"
Curious about the Dwarf a young boy walked up and said "i's wills takes yous to sees the elders" smiling the boy started to head up the street.
Following the boy Rune was taken to the other side of the village to a small hut that had been added onto and repaired over many generations.
Upon reaching the hut the boy opened the door and called out "Granny yous has a visitor" motioning Rune inside the boy closed the door and went off through one of the many doors that now made up the other side of the hut.
