Gear: A veridium halberd(It's basically a spear with an axe and hook on it). A small buckler that allows Hudsar to give himself some extra protection and fight with the halberd without any difficulties. He also has a steel dagger strapped to his leg, - just in case.
Hudsar wears a steel scale armor shirt, that gives him enough armor and enough mobility to move around. Bellow his armor he has a tough leather vest and a plain, green village shirt. His scale armor provides some part of his thighs, so Hudsar hasn't got any armor on his thighs, but he does have tough dark leather war boots on him. The dwarf also has some steel plated bracers around his arms and leather miner gloves. On top of his armor, he has a khaki colored coat. Hudsar also has a common iron helmet, which usually bounces around his waist, tied to his belt.
Since Hudsar spends most of his time traveling, he carries most of his life with him, he has a big backpack which consists of everything he need, a bedroll, food and drink, maps, a small toolbox.
The most sacred thing to him however is his fathers silvertine blacksmiths hammer, which he always carries with him, to remember his family. The hammer however was supposed to be passed to Hudsar after his fathers time had come, so it had already the dwarves initials engraved in the hammer.
CHARACTERISTICS
Appearance: Hudsar doesn't look different than your average dwarf, he's short and stout, well built. Apart from the majority of dwarves, Hudsar has a quite short beard around his face and ginger colored hair till his neck. Hudsars eyes are dark brown and a line across his face around his nose is covered in freckles, giving him a cute and childish look, which he uses a lot to get along with the ladies.
Personality: Since Hudsar has spent most of his life on the surface, he doesn't have the stubbornness and grumpiness of a dwarf, in fact Hudsar is quite an open and friendly person to most of the people. Since he has traveled a lot around the world and spent less time living in populated places, he can be naive sometimes.
The dwarf always tries to be a real charmer around the ladies and he'll do anything to impress a girl he fancies. As all dwarves, Hudsar doesn't shy away from alcohol, especially red wine, it's his favorite, he always carries a wine flask with him, which he tends to drink a lot, making him to be tipsy on most occasions. Also, as a dwarf, he can be short tempered and easily angered, but to make him go violent will be quite challenging.
HISTORY
Hudsar was born and raised in Orzammar, sadly, his mother died while she gave birth to him, so Hudsar grew up only with his father, he couldn't marry a different woman after his wife's death. His father, Ufgar, was a famous and well demanded blacksmith in Orzammar, even though they lived in the commons, they were quite rich and lived very well, his father was even offered to move to the Diamond Quarter, but he denied the offer saying that he didn't like living amongst politicians and nobles. His answer was criticized by most of the nobles, but never the less, they respected him highly and still used his services.
Since the young dwarf didn't have to worry about being fed and dressed, Hudsar spent most of his time playing with his friends, pretending to be guards and thieves, dueling with wooden swords, annoying the grown ups, the usual things kids would do.
His father offered him a lot of freedom, but he was quite strict at the same time and made him spent hours with him, learning the arts of black smithing, which Hudsar learned quite well and quick. But even though the lessons his father gave, the young dwarf thrilled for action and adventure, so he preferred to play fight with his friends.
As Hudsar grew, his need for adventures grew, so the dwarf started to spend more time in bars and women, which caused him to become quite a local nuisance to the local guards, since the young dwarf tended to get into bar fights because of being too drunk or trying to steal someone's girlfriend. This did give his father a bad name, so the punishments were quite severe very often, sometimes people couldn't tell if Hudsar got a black eye from a bar fight or his father.
Once Hudsar had turned into a adult, he started to work as a guard in the town, making sure that Orzammar was a safe place for the dwarves. After spending a large part of his youth drinking and making trouble, Hudsar came to a conclusion to redeem himself by making the place a better place.
During his service time, Hudsar managed to make quite a reputation for him, which made him the captain of the guards very soon around his area. The dwarf started to earn quite a sum of money, which meant that he would be able to move out of his fathers house soon, to live a life of his own.
Sadly, that day never came... One evening, a bunch of thugs broke into their house and attempted to murder Hudsar and his father, but they failed and only killed his father. This was enough though, because Hudsar was framed later for killing his father, this was clear that someone tried to get his father out of business.
Being court trialed and sentenced for exile for the murder of his father and ''innocent'' by passers. Allowed to bring only one item with him, Hudsar took his fathers smith hammer and ventured out into the deep roads, never to return to Orzammar.
The dwarf didn't know how long he spent in the deep roads, fighting off spiders, deep stalkers and darkspawn with his fathers hammer. One day however, he was cornered in by darkspawn forces and realized that this will be the end of his day, but alas, he was saved by some adventurers, who were traveling through the deep roads searching for wealth and fame. They helped Hudsar fight off the darkspawn and offered him to join them and leave the Deep Roads out in the surface. Hudsar took the offer straight away, he knew that his father would never want to see his son die like a dog in the deep roads, so he left to venture through the world.
Once outside the Deep Roads, Hudsar met a human merchant named Brian, who traveled through most of Thedas to make a living. Brian offered the dwarf to work as a guard to his caravan, offering him weapons, armor, food, money and good company. Since the dwarf didn't have much of a choice, he joined the merchant and traveled him for many years, seeing most of Thedas. At first it was quite weird, because the dwarf thought all the time that the sun is going to fall on them, but quite soon he got used to the surface and grew to like it very much. While Brian traded with others, Hudsar spent his free time working as a blacksmith and visiting bars, mainly to make out with human or elf females, which he found a real treat. Together with the caravan, they avoided the darkspawn war as best as they could and fortunately they went through it without any major difficulties.
The traveling however grew quite annoying to the dwarf and he decided that he wanted to settle somewhere and live a decent life, without no worries, perhaps open his own store. So one day whilst traveling the Free Marches, Hudsar gave his farewells to Brian and the rest of the caravan and made his way to Kirkwall, were to seek a long and prosperous life.

Chuckling, Nars boasted.
-Of course I did.. you know my service record and what I'm capable of. Don't want to brag, but haven't had problems beating up the locals here.. local humans..-
Cursing himself for spilling out the beans about sups, Nars emptied his beer and ordered the waitress a round of two more beers.
Once the beers were brought, he took a sip from his and remained silent for a moment, but then he spoke in a quiet voice.
-Well.. I've had some encounters with vampires and werewolves around here, some good and some horribly bad, almost ended up dead once here as well, but that is all sorted out now and I've got nothing to worry about here.. I hope..-
Taking a pause, he continued.
-Then again.. the persons I meet around here have quite a dangerous reputation in which I've been involved sometimes, but I should be safe now.-
Gulping his beer, Nars chuckled and said.
-On the other hand, I've afforded to buy myself a nice and comfortable log house not far from here, in Shreveport.-
