"Yeah I did not ask for your help. But you gave it. I want to repay you, its respect," Arley stated, she was very distant, but it didnt bother him. He wouldnt argue with her about his pants, its wasnt a big deal. "Thank you." When he asked about love he knew instantly that he struck a nerve. She snapped at him, avoiding the conversation. Arley figured she had probably lost someone dear to her, which he understood.
He decided not to press the matter. He was just going to leave it at what it was. "I told you I dont sleep. Often, and I'm sorry if my question bothered you. I wont ask it again." Arley promised her, he didnt want to hurt her feelings or anything, nor did he want to piss her off. He could not sleep, he didn't feel tired, that and his leg still hurts. It is healing nicley, the poultices are working. He looked over at Honovi, and since he isn't one for long silences, he spoke.
"So who is your favorite poet?" Arley changed the subject, he knew she would just let it go if he didnt push the matter further. Arley talks alot but he knows when to shut up. She is probably going to just give me another one word answer, Arley thought to himself. He could feel the smirk scoot across his face, she was a challenge, people usually arent this hard, he is good with people. But obviously not with her, but he is presistent and doesnt mind getting shot down, a lot to add to it, but he could care less.

"Don't be sorry for asking questions."
It was a valid question, after all, and Arley had no way of knowing it would strike a nerve. He was a very considerate young man, though, changing the topic to poetry. Honovi arched a brow, surprised - she hadn't expected him to remember that she liked it, terse as she was.
"I don't like poets, I like poems, and my tastes are varied. You do not need to humour me, talk about whatever you like and I will listen."
Once again she leaned back against a tree, deft hands flying over unassembled bits of arrow and turning them into missiles fit to kill. She'd been doing it so often for so long that she didn't even need to look at them as she worked, holding her attention on Arley as she waited for her clothing to finish drying. It shouldn't be too long now, anyway, and once she'd filled her spare quiver with new arrows she set to cleaning and oiling her armour. Even leathers needed to be taken care of, after all, or hers wouldn't have lasted so long.

Arley was suprised at her politeness after his apology, not what he expected, but it was nice. "I know, I am interested, you havent said much about youself at all. It would be nice if you would tell me somethings about you. Like, did you grow up here? In the forest? Or did you grow up in the Korcari Wilds? I'm pretty sure thats were everyone says your from." Not ofted did Arley get to talk to a Chasind like this, usually they where cautious about him, but loosened up when they found out he was a Warden. It was easier to hide himself in political battles, he was neutral in almost everything but this Mage and Templar war. It helped to hide his intentions, when he wasn't fighting Darkspawn, and before the war, he would spend his time helping the people of Denerim shutting down gang uprisings, and cleaning up the bandits pilfering the streets.
Though he tried his best to stay out of religious and political matters, he realized that this Mage war was more than just political and religious. They are trying to eradicate Mages, no matter what you are they are just branding every mage a Melificar. "Oh...Where do you stand in the Mage and Templar war? If I may ask, or do you care at all, I've noticed that some dont care either way," If she wouldn't answer any of his personal questions, how about something that most have a view on now days. "Or what about the rumored Qunari invasion?"
Arley had heard about that somewhere in the Free Marches, the Qunari where going to try to take over because they believed that they stange, way of life, or order was correct. But it really made no sense, give your life to the demand of some strangely named idea. Made no sense to Arley, but if they came to Fereden, he would fight. Ferelen seems to have a big problem with being invaded, Arley thought, it was a bad thought, but it made him chuckle

It was slowly starting to occur to Honovi that Arley really might be a bit slow, and she shook her head slowly when he asked if she'd grown up in the Brecilian Forest.
"All Chasind come from the Korcari Wilds - that is what makes us Chasind."
Then again with another question that had to be painfully obvious. Where did she stand on the mage-templar war? She levelled Arley with a perfectly serious stare and tilted her head.
"I side with templars. I only killed those templars and that Seeker for target practice."
As for the Qunari, she really didn't care. If they attacked there would me more people looking to pay more money to hire skilled fighters, which meant better business for her. Other than that... well, there was nothing worth saying so she didn't say anything at all. War was war, and she was good at it. At least she didn't have to play nice when people wanted her to kill things.
With nothing left to say, Honovi collected her clothes, mostly dry, and dressed before sitting back down to make more arrows. Any expectations she had about peace and quiet were very low, so she started humming again to head off any further attempt at conversation. With any luck, she might even prove Arley wrong and make him fall asleep.
