Well, when you consider them at the microbial level, the millions upon millions of nigh flawless replication cycles, the speedy transcription translation process, and their ability to survive and prosper in a variety of environments (demonstrating their unique homeostatic advantages), then yes, colds are very awesome, in fact, they're quite badass as well.
